Magic #1: First Impression

Chapter 7 Bad Situations

"Hey! Jack! How come you just dropped down our of nowhere?!" Said a voice. I turned around and saw my best friend, Mason. "Hey! Mason! Buddy! I'll explain later. But first, tell me how you got here!" I said."Well, I saw some cracks in the ground and followed them. Then, I just simply hid. That dragon is mine now, by the way. Lander! Come here!" Suddenly, the dragon we had just run from walked up to me. And then, I asked"How come no one is freaking out?" "Because I put a cloak-the-truth spell on him, so that no one would freak out about it. They think that he is just a dog." "How did you do the spell?" "I put him in a circle with an animal, and a few leaves. Then, I said 'Gootentag', and patted him." "Cool!"and then, I took him to the apartment, and taught him some magic. When I got finished, I asked him what his amulet of charm for magic was, and he said that if was his wand."It even has a compartment for dragon food!?!!!" I said. And then, I heard chaos outside. I ran onto the balcony, and saw an evil dragon attacking the city. " Karaglen! Dazzle! Snydel! Imersa! Scorch! Blight! get over here, and tell me what is going on in here!"I yelled. "Well, you see, the Myths came, and this time, they brought a dragon!" Said Karaglen. "Dragons! Quick fire in the air! Then abilities, and then, if we have to, use your air combat moves. If worst comes to worst,we will have to use spells on it."And Mason was already in the air, attacking with random spells that I had just taught him. And they all improved his strength, speed, and brains. All but one, which knocked the dragon down, and pulled all of the dragons toward his, and all of us toward him. "Mason!" I screamed "Sorry!"he screamed back. Luckily, I knew the counter-spell for it. "Seedomane!"I screamed. and then, I was falling."Aaaaaaaaaaaah!"I yelled PLOP! and then,I was on my dragons back."Thanks, Karaglen!"I said. But then, I couldn't find Mason.

When I found Mason, he was in a mountain, eating smores with a monk."Did you tell him any spells?" "Yes, I did."the monk said "Guraysu!"I said Guraysu was the monks name, after all. and then, a portal opened and an evil monster came through."Again! Mason!" "Run!!!!!!" I threw Guraysu and Mason ahead of me, and kicked them back through the portal. Everyone was far up ahead, and then, I saw them stop. "The Myths!"And so we ran, and ran, and ran.

When war stopped, I told them that I was going to scout ahead. We didn't go back to the apartments, because they would find us there, easily. We just walked away, and are now going through the woods. It was the only escape route. So we are hiding now. And then, I sensed some enemies coming from all directions. Even the air. I ran back immediately."Guys! They are coming for us, and it's all Masons fault!"I said, as soon as they could hear me. I could not believe it! But, as they cornered us, I felt as if I had a choice. A choice to either save myself and doom my friends, or to stay and risk the world's safety. I chose to risk the world. Then, I decided on how I was going to beat them up.

When they got there, I was ready. And then, in only a few minutes, I had taken out all of the Myths except for Thoth. And when the evil monster got there, I had taken out Thoth. And then, in a few more minutes, I was finished. I caught up to the others in a matter of seconds. "Mason, listen, I'm sorry, but you have to leave." I said to Mason. "Okay. Bye!"He said. And that was it.
