Mason took us to a building that was surrounded by gargoyles. The first gate was guarded by some Dorans. The second gate was guarded by some Dabads. The third gate was guarded by some Zivaps. When we walked inside, we saw some Daaps. Mason brought us to a lab with some Lants. "Here is what the Lants do for us. They are our scientists. Even Shadowalkers help. They guard the labs. I'm going to take you to where you will be sleeping for the next 3 months, unless you leave." Mason said. He then took us down a few stairs. They led us to a cave like place. He took us to one room with beds in it. I made mine a simple addition. A little map, and a small picture of Karaglen.
The next day, I went to a small room with a few Lants in it. I said "What are you working on?" One answered "A grrrrrrrrowing formula that will spread thrrrrrrrrrough the air to a destination." "Cool!" I said. "Will Jack Vant please report to Darwin's office?" A voice said through the speaker.
A little bit later, I was in Darwin's office. "So, You wanted me?" "Yes. I have been waiting for you. Ms. Tigre told me that she would be sending you. I saw all of your fights, your friends, your family. I admire you." "Thanks." I said. And then, I left.
When I got back, I went straight to my bunk. "Karaglen!"I said. He came to me. I petted him a bit. Then I went to the track."Race you, Karaglen!"I said. I ran as fast as I could. When I stopped, I saw that he had beaten me. I saw a girl in the bleachers. "Nice run. I like that name. Karaglen. I'm Lily."She said. "How long have you been there?" I asked. "The whole time."She responded.
