Annabeth POV
It's been a day since the snowed in incident and homecoming is next week.
I'm normally not one to be exited over dances, but this time Percy can be with me! (I'm normally not close to him during the school year.)
"So, annie," Piper pipes up, "What are you wearing to homecoming?"
"A dress." I say.
She roles her eyes. "No duh. What about you, Nico?"
"A tux."
"You two are hopeless!" Piper face palms.
"And what are you wearing?" I ask, "A t-shirt and leggings?"
"No! I have dress I'm going to wear. It's the same color as Jason's tuxedo, too." (I'm keeping him alive, okay?)
"You're letting your inner Aphrodite show." Nico says.
"Oh, shut up."

I'm in my room, on the phone with Percy.
"My homecoming is next week. You want to come with me?" I ask.
"Of course. Should I bring my sass with me?" He jokes.
"I think that's going to tag along even if you don't want it to."
"Yeah, I think you're right."
We laugh and continue talking.
