Chapter 6

Piper POV

Annabeth and I are doing our homework in silence.

I don't know what's on her mind but I have Nico on mine.

The son of Hades use to keep me on edge, it was like he had no feelings or emotions, but now that we're closer, he's like a little brother. (although Leo says I'm like a sister to everyone besides Jason.) He never admitted it, but I'm pretty sure he gets panic attacks-The look on his face when those twins wrapped there arms around them was terrified.

He looks that way with everyone, besides Will Solace, his boyfriend.

"Piper?" Annabeths voice brought me back to reality.

"Huh?"

"Do you have an extra pencil?"

"Oh, yeah." I dig through my bag and pull out a pencil, "Hear."

Annabeth takes the pencil, but she isn't done talking yet, "We've been studying for 30 minutes and you've been reading one page the hole time. What's on your mind?"

I sigh. I wish she wasn't so good at reading people "It's Nico-" 

I'm cut off by a male voice, "What are you two doing?"

I look up and see the twins. "Studying." Annabeth retorts, "what does it look like?"

They wave off the question, "what's with your friend?" Kaoru asks, 

"He seems," Hikaru starts,

"Kind of," Kaoru follows,

"weird." They finish in unison.

"You mean Nico?" I say, "Nothings wrong with him. Why get some respect for others privacy? Because it seems like your club is nothing but flirtatious pervs that must know everything about everyone's privet live, an-"

"Piper," Annabeth warns, "breath in, breath out."

"All We're saying is that he seems kind of rude." they say, like we're going to agree with him.

I'm about to make a comeback, even Athena couldn't top, but Annabeth beats me to it, "Nico has been through more s*** then anyone I know. He went through hell and back alone. Don't say something about someone until you've learned there story." She stands up now, "Let's go, Piper."

I gladly get my things and we walk out the building.
