Chapter Twelve

This morning I wake up to something much different then how I usually wake up. Usually Nash kisses me to wake me up, but today I wake up to him singing and dancing all over the room. I sit up and rub my eyes but before I can even stand up Nash grabs my hand and starts to spin me around. "I wonder what he's so happy about" I think to myself then Nash picks me up. "Good morning" He says smiling. "Morning why are you so... so.... so happy?" I say looking confused. "Because i'm taking you somewhere special today" He says happily "why what did you do" I say looking at him. "Nothing"He says putting me down, "Ok so were are we going" I ask "You will see soon enough" He says smiling then sits next to me. I get up and go change. I come out and go down stairs and see Nash sitting on the coach. I sit next to him and lay my head on his chest then he wraps his arms around me and he kisses the top of my head. "So when are we going" I say looking at the clock and it reads 6:21 am. "I was thinking around ten or so" he says changing the channel to the weather channel. "Since when do you watch this?" I ask. "Since right now" he says laughing. "Why are you asking so many question" He asks "Because i hate surprises" I say. "Well if your going to date me get use to them" he says smiling. "I'm hungry" I say getting up and going into the kitchen. I make some taco's (Nash's favorite food) and hand him his plate. We eat and now it is 10:10 am. We get up and go to his car, we get in and start to drive.  "Ok close your eyes" he says excitedly, I do as he says and I close my eyes we pull into the parking lot then I look and we are at the carnival. "OMG I LOVE CARNIVALS!!!" i say kissing Nash excitedly."I no that's why were here" he say smiling and opening my door. I get out and he grabs my hand and we go inside"What do we do first?" I ask "I though we could go on that one" he says pointing at a ride called The Zipper. "But I'm afraid of heights" I say scared sounding "Don't worry I will be there with you he says. We get in line and it was super short so after like 5 seconds of standing there we got on. The ride started I grab Nash's hand and scream. Nash just looks at me, laughs a little, then says "THIS IS AWESOME!!!" when we get off the ride I say "I think i'm going to barf" "Ill hold your hair back" Nash says smiling , he raps his arm around me and we start to walk. "You pick the next ride" he says "Ok I pick that one" I say pointing at a ride called The Landslide. "Ok" He says and we walk over and we get this rug this and we climb to the top. It has two sides to it (you just can't see one side) we get all  set up and before we go I say "Race ya 1...2....3.... GO" I say and were off. Nash starts out at first place but at the last turn I pass him and I win. "I WON" I say so happy. I hug and then grab this hand as we exit I say "Now what?" He looks at his watch and its 9:10 pm. "Our last ride will be That one" he says pointing at the big wheel. We start to walk and we get in line. we get seated and the ride starts moving but then stops when Nash and I are at the very top. I Sit closer to Nash and I say "Why did we stop at the very top?" I said scared. "They are probably just letting more people on the ride" He says calming me down by wrapping his arms around me. Then we hear a voice "ATTENTION WE ARE EXPERIENCING SOME TECHNICAL DIFFICULTIES, IT SEEMS THE RIDE HAS STOPPED WORKING AND WE MUST WAIT AN HOUR FOR THE REPAIR MAN TO GET HERE TO FIX IT SORRY FOR THE INCONVENIENCE" the man shouts. I look at Nash "Yea no body is going to get on now" I say. I look down, and scream. "Dylan calm down your going to be fine I won't let anything happen to you" Nash says sweetly. I reposition myself so I am now resting my head on Nash's chest. He wraps his arms around me and I fall asleep. When I wake up I take my phone out of my pocket and look at the time It is now 11:30. "Its been over an hour" I say to Nash showing him the time on my phone. Then I get a text from Hope. 

To: Dyl

From: Hope

Hey where are you and Nash I went to your house and no one was home.

To: Hope

From: Dyl

Were stuck at the top of a carnival ride.... and we have been up here for over an hour :(

From: Hope

Oh well good luck I wish I could help and you must be scared because your scared of heights

I put my phone away and look at Nash. "What do we do since were stuck up here for god know's how much longer"  I ask. "Hmmmm I'm not sure why don't we try and get some sleep" He says. I fall back asleep and so does Nash. When we wake up were still stuck at the top and now i'm freaking out. "Nash I can do this any longer we  have been up here all night" I say now very scared. I am so scared I am starting to shake. "Its ok Dyl" He say holding me tighter. Then we hear the man again. "IF ANYONE HAS A CELL PHONE PLEASE CALL 911 FOR HELP BECAUSE THE REPAIR MAN JUST QUIT." the man shouts. I take my phone out of my pocket and call 911. Five minutes later the fire department is here. They start from the bottom and work there way up. When they get to me and Nash they say "who is going first" I point to Nash. He wanted me to go first but I would not budge "I'll see you when you get down ok?" He says. I kisses him and the he goes. He goes first and once he is on the ladder he starts to climb down. "Your turn miss" The fireman says. I stand up and I am now shaking so much the seat is moving. I start to cry a little. "Miss you will be ok" he say reaching for my hand. I grab his hand and he helps me onto the ladder. I carefully climb down and now I am on the ground. I run over to Nash and hug him as tightly as I can. After about 5 minutes I let go and we go to the car. It is now 2:30 am and I fall asleep. When we get to our house get carries my upstairs and lays me onto the bed and we go to sleep. I wake up and go into the bathroom and take a shower. I change. I walk back into the bedroom and kiss Nash to wake him up. He wakes up and I sit back down on the bed and turn the TV on. We watch F.R.I.E.N.D.S for about an hour so now its 7:32 am. "Well I got to go i'm hanging out with Hope for the day." "Ok bye" he says. I kiss him good bye and before I walk out the door I say "Love ya" then walk outside. I get into my car and drive to the hotel. I knock on Hopes door. She walks out. "Ya ready?" I ask "Yup lets go" she say as we walk down to my car. We get into the car and I start to drive. "Where do you want to go?" I ask "The carnival" she says, we both start to laugh and I drive to the mall. We spend all day there and then we get back into the car and I drop her off at her hotel. I then drive back to my house and walk in. Nash is in the living room watching football (like all men do) "Hey" I say putting my stuff down and I sit next to him. "Hey" he says, then he kisses me and watches the game. "Who's playing?" I ask "I honestly have no clue" he says laughing. "Then why are you watching it" I say smiling. "Nothing else is on TV." he says. "So watch a movie we have Netflix for a reason" I say getting up and bringing my stuff upstairs. I look at the clock and its 7:30 pm. I change into my pajama's. I get into bed and fall asleep not waiting for Nash because I am super tired.
