Angie and I had each grabbed a tray, picking out food that would fill us yet settle lightly on our stomachs. I am so thankful that our company pays for our food, or else I don't know how I would afford such elaborate meals. Once finished going through the cafeteria line, we entered back into the main dining hall. Ten benches stretched the length of the room, the back wall being nothing but windows. The view was beautiful, and allowed for natural lighting to come in.

As I took in the scenery of hundreds of trainees gathered, I hear Angie greet someone.

"Angie! Over here!" I look over to see the words come from a very slim girl with unnaturally blonde hair.

"Hi, Mini!" Angie starts to walk over towards where Mini was sitting, and I followed like a lost puppy. We approach the stranger and Angie sits down across from her. Uncertain if I am invited, I sheepishly sit next to Angie.

"Mini, this is Jae-Eun. She goes by Jae! And this here is Mi-Jin, or Mini." Angie looks proud of herself, as if she had a new toy to show off.

"Hi Jae, you're one of the new trainees aren't you?" I smile shyly, nodding my head.

"And get this, she was put into advance-contemporary!"

Angie continued to talk to Mini as I start to drift off into my thoughts. The world around me blurred, and I went brain dead as I ate. It wasn't until a silhouette of a being sat directly in front of me, next to Mini, that I came out of my trance. My eyes began to focus on the new person, and I started to pick back up on the conversation. Studying his face, I recognized this man as one of the judges who helped get me in. Angie's cheeks had turned a light pink, and Mini was ecstatic towards the newcomer.

"Jimin! Are you sitting with us today?" Blondie looks next to him at the bundle of joy, smiling his crinkly eyed smile. He then turned to me, looking me down into my soul.

"Of course! Just like everyone else, I'm curious about the new trainees." Angie choked on the air a bit, before slightly jabbing me.

Yes, Angie. I know cute boy is talking about me.

"Well, we were just talking about how Jae here had already made quite the statement." Angie giggles at me, referring to how I caused our class to stay late.

This bitch.

"Well, I'm glad to see that you're fitting in. I've gotta go, I booked a room for private study." With a wink, blondie stood up and left. I glance at the other two, who were ogling. As soon as he left their line of sight, words started to rapidly pour from their mouths.

"Oh my god, did you see how he winked at Jae?"

"I can't believe he sat right next to me!"

"I swear to god, he's finer up close."

"Screw this lunch, I'd rather eat Jimin."

I was a bit confused as their gushing. I mean, blondie's very good looking, there's no denying that. But he seems a bit... too good to be true? Cocky? I don't know. But their ongoing banter was entertaining and made me laugh. As the two girls calmed down, the conversation directed back towards me.

"So, do you know Jimin?" I looked a bit puzzled towards Mini.

"No, not really. He just judged me at the audition." A chorus of "ohhh" came from them. And at that, the conversation died.
