Jughead's p.o.v 🍔
I tried texting Toni on my phone but I couldn’t send her anything, I knew that she wouldn't have blocked me, so I figured I didn’t have service. I hoped she didn’t block me because I had 4 bars. I got on my Bike and went to the White Wyrm to see if Toni was in their working her shift. I walked in and saw Barbie “Hey Barbie is Toni working right now?” I asked “No she's not I haven't seen her for about a week and a couple days.” I nodded to Barbie and left I then went to her Trailer to see if she was their. I have the key so I tried to open the door. But no one was their. So I hopped back on my bike and went to her uncles Trailer. She wasn't there either. I had one more place to go before I would give up and scream. I went to the old abandoned southside high school. She was nowhere to be found. My phone vibrated in my pocket and Betty texted me, I opened it and it said
Betty: Hey Jug, I made up with Toni and we aren’t fighting anymore, but I have bad news.. I’m sorry but she said things aren’t working out.. We can meet up at Pops if you want to talk about it..
Jughead: Yea sure ig
Betty: Okay see you later :)
Later that day
Betty’s pov 👯📝
I walked into pops first and when I sat down the doorbell jingled I looked up and saw Toni walk through the door and then looked at me I signaled her over to me but she just snarled, walked in more then went to the other side of the dinner. I got up and walked to her and grabbed her arm when she tried to move away again “What did I say about being near Jughead and I” I said very angrily “I didn't know you would be here so I don't see any problem” she replied with a aggravated tone. I let her go and she sat down in the booth. I walked with a grin and I sat down and took out my phone I opened instagram and scrolled down the pics for a while. After about 10 minutes later Jughead walked in I looked passed him and looked as Toni got up and faced the other direction. Jughead walked over to me he had a depressing face. He sat down and I said “Hey juggy what you up to” he looked at me with a mad expression and said “Can we just order food” “yeah of course” we ordered and he got up “Jug wear are you going?” I asked “ I'm going to change the song this was Toni's song” he said. The radio station was across the dinner wear Toni was. I said “hey I'll change it for you” and he replied “no it's ok I can do it” he turned around and I shot up.

I turned around and I saw no reason for Betty to be freaking out. I got over to the radio station and changed the song when I turned around I saw Toni sitting at a booth I walked over to her and sat down she looked up and got up before she could leave I grabbed her hand and pulled her back. “Toni what's wrong with you after break ups you have your always still talking to them what's different about me” I said. She had tears fill her eyes. She yanked her arm out of my embrace and she ran out of the dinner. I was disappointed and sad of what I saw. I started walking towards Betty she looked freaked out. I sat down in the booth with Betty again. Then she smiled. “Hey do you wanna get outta here and go to the old drive in movie theater.” Betty asked smiling.
I left Pops after a few hours. I felt reconnected with Betty. We still didn’t talk much though. Betty left after I did and I drove on my bike to my house. I decided later I would try to go visit my dad in jail. I called them and they asked questions like “What’s your name? Who are you calling for? When do you want to visit? Are you looking for help? Do we need to direct you to the jail?” I hung up the phone before they could ask anything more, and I flung my phone on the couch. I facepalmed my forehead and opened the half empty white, stained fridge. I looked inside for something to eat and decided to go shopping. I got my helmet off the counter and I closed the fridge behind me. I walked out the door and down the steps to my bike. I put the key in and the engine started. I drove to the nearby store and parked my bike, and put the kickstand up. I walked through the motion sensored door and it automatically opened as I walked up to it. I went to the cereal aisle first, and looked at the cheapest ones because I only had a $20 bill. I grabbed chexs, milk which was pretty expensive, I grabbed some meat, bread, eggs and some other snacks. I brought everything up in the gray basket from the front and put it on the cash register bed. The cashier scanned my food and the total came to $25.60. I didn’t have enough. I said “I’m sorry but I only have a $20 I’ll have to come back later, do you think you could save it for me behind the register?” she said “Umm, well I’d have to check with the manager first..” I nodded and before I could say anything the person behind me said “I wouldn’t trust this South side Serpent freak, they steal and rob all the time.” I turned around quickly and said “Do you have a problem with me, because we’re about to have an issue if you do.” the man said back “Yeah, I do, I don’t want you and your stealing little biker gang in here in this grocery store.” I got angered and thought of FP.. “Stop saying stuff about the Serpents, just because they make bad decisions doesn’t mean everywhere they go they’re going to steal things, or, or rob people. Not everyone is like that in the Southside, we actually have a li-” someone cut me off, and one of the workers said “Sir, please leave or take it outside, there are children here!” I said “Whatever, I won’t be coming back here” and the guy said behind me “Good we don’t want you here.” I walked out the door and I bumped into Toni. “Toni??” I said. Toni’s face went pale, and she looked like she was scared “U--uh hey, I was uh just leaving…” she said “Toni what’s wrong, did someone hurt you why is it every time I see you you run away every time I smile tears fill your eyes? Why aren’t you responding to my texts? Was it the Serpents?” I asked. “No, jughead just please I just I need to go, I really really need to go. I’ll see you soon I promise I just have to do something. Please. Just leave me alone for now.” I grabbed her hand before she could get away “Jug pl..please.” her voice was shaky and her eyes were starting to water. A tear ran down her face and I let her go.She ran away and I walked to my bike and drove away fast. I drove back home and slammed the door behind me, and grabbed the rest of the cereal and ate it plain. I slept the rest of the night.
