Love before wars

Chapter 3:

Yanda's eyes widened how did he know she was in disguise. Inwardly she was complaining how Xin Jiu knew too much,but by the way he was watching her he seemed....impressed. Yanda however forgot that Chi Mae was with her, both lovers had a staring contest with each other. One of them blushing while the other simply grinning, a child's frustrated groan made them stop and look at the princess of the mortal realm who was trying to take of her other side of shoe.Yanda was the person to break the silence "this is weird" she then scratched the back of her head awkwardly. Xin jiu,however chuckled, whenever he was around her,the fire princess would either scratch her head or giggle simontaneously, he actually thinks it's cute. Yanda noticing that the king was in his own world took this as a sign to call the princess "Chi Mae! There's someone I want you to meet..."  Xin Jiu looked at her, his head tilted to the side a eyebrow raised signaling his confusion.
"Yanda you know the child?" He asked pointing towards the child "yes I'm her godmother and call me Yan-zhu'' she said in a hushed tone, Chi Mae stared blankly at the male next to her jiaomu she didn't like how close they were and the male's hair was funny-looking, but since the girl was very well mannered [because her mom taught her] politely asked who he was, she wasn't  atleast surprised when she found out that he was her jiaomu's de airen [godmother's lover] because her jiaomu likes weird people.
"Hello sir my name is Chi Mae,princess of the mortal realm.......you are?"she placed her hand out to shake the funny-looking boy girlish male. Xin Jiu smiled, he glanced and Yanda for permission, she nodded,then introduced himself.
