I stayed with the dead Nome the entire time, not moving from this spot. "There's nothing you can do for him. He's dead." A Nome said.

"I know." I replied, quietly. I held the Nome tighter and I got a vision of what the Nime used to be. I gasped and looked at it.

"It was you," I whispered. "You were the Runaway Kid. But how... did you end up like this?"

I felt even more sad because this Nome used to be a child. A child who just wanted to escape the Maw like the rest of us. But in a way... I guess he did escape.

I looked towards the ceiling when the lights began to flicker. Something was happening.

I gently placed the dead Nome on the ground and went looking for the source. I came across a huge door with an eye on it, then turned around as I heard continuous thuds.

Six was casually walking past them as she seemed to be sucking their energy, or life source. "Six, what happened? Where's The Lady?" I asked.

"The Lady is dead. We're free now." Six said. "Huh? She's dead? How? What happened?" I asked. She didn't answer as the giant door that stood in front of us suddenly opened.

"Whoa..." I said in awe. "Let's go. We're getting out of here." Six said. I gave a nod and followed her up the long flight of stairs.

I could hear the squawking of seagulls and the waves of the ocean from a distance.

'Something happened to Six when she faced The Lady. Whatever happened, she's obtain her powers.' I thought.

When we reached the top of the stairs, I saw that were in the middle of nowhere. "What now, Six?" I asked. Before she could answer, the sound of a boat was heard in the distance.

"Now... We go home," She said. "We finally go home."
