Chapter One

Robot City has never been better since Rodney Copperbottom defeated Madame Gasket and her son, Phineas Ratchet. Months has past since defeating Ratchet, in the mean time, Bigweld has come out of hiding and has been in a romantic relationship with Aunt Fanny.

Rodney Copperbottom is also in a romantic relationship with the woman of his dreams. The slender and emerald eyes woman... Cappy Jade. Never in a million years that Rodney thought he would end up with a woman like Cappy. He keeps thinking that this is a dream. How could he ever get his dream job and date the most beautiful woman in the world? Well, when push comes to shove, nice guys finish first.

He was more than happy when Cappy agreed to go on a date with him. Though he was quite the nervous wreck himself. Their first date led to plenty of more dates.

Their romantic relationship fit well with their work relationship. Cappy thought that with her being his boss, it could be weird but it isn't... not yet at least.

Rodney Copperbottom is now the CEO of Bigweld Industries. Bigweld retired and gave the company to his protege, Rodney. He couldn't be more proud of him. Bigweld still comes into work to help Rodney and the company make decisions but he spends most of his time with Aunt Fanny. Lug and Diesel are still the best of friends. Fender and Loretta can't be any happier than they are now. They have also been together for two years and they occasionally go out on a double date with Rodney and Cappy. Piper became sad once she realized that Rodney was truly smitten with Cappy, but Piper herself has her eyes on a certain cranky boy...

Phineas Ratchet was not seen since the Rusties left the battle of defeating Madame Gasket. Though rumor has it that the shiny upgrade is still lingering in the Chop Shop.

Bigweld Industries can't be in a better position than they are now. They have Rodney Copperbottom as the CEO, Cappy Jade as a member of the Board of Directors.

Over the past few months, Bigweld Industries were hiring new employees and preparing to have a grand reopening. In honor of Rodney becoming the new CEO. Today, they plan to open back up, news stations from across the world are expected to be there, news media, everyone. Whilst tonight, is their after party. The reopening is in half an hour, and in the meantime, Rodney and Cappy are having a meeting, discussing the after party of their grand reopening.

"This is going to be exciting, and this time, you won't have to sneak in, you're the one hosting it." Cappy teases as she adjusts Rodney's tie. Rodney let out a small chuckle.

"That's good to know, I don't have to dress up in some ridiculous outfit. Though I do prefer my blue suit this time." Rodney smiles as Cappy giggles at him.

"I didn't think you looked ridiculous, maybe out of place but you were still cute." Cappy kisses his cheek, Rodney smiles, but Cappy can see something was bothering him.

"Are you nervous Rodney?"

"It's like you can read my mind... yes, well, a little bit. I've never been the center of attention, I don't want to let them down."

"You won't Rodney, they have faith in you. Bigweld did as I do now, you shouldn't be nervous." Cappy takes his hand. "I'll be right next to you, if you get nervous, all you have to do is look at me." Cappy gently rubs his hand to reassure her love.

Rodney smiles gleefully at this. "Have I told you how much I love you?" Cappy laughs as she smiles.

"Not enough, please tell me."

"I love you so much Cappy." Rodney leans down and kisses her lips softly, Cappy happily obliges as she wrapped her arms around him. Rodney placed his hands on her sides respectfully and eagerly returned the kiss.
