The Start of Something New

Chapter 6

*BEATRIZ'S (P.O.V)*

Friday afternoon Breana's house.

"So what do you think the guys are doing"I asked Breana. "Um I don't know....Meeting maybe?." "I don't think so, I feel like they're trying to hide something from us."I said. "What? Why do you think that?" She asked. "Well Nash and Matt seemed really nervous when they asked us if they could skip tutoring, and they didn't give even us a straight forward answer." "Oh well I guess you have a point, but it's none of our business"She said plainly. "Ya you're right"I said sadly and we went back to watching TV. "Hey we should do something." Breana said out of nowhere. "Like what"I asked. "Movies?" "Okay lets go." I said. And we walked out the door.

*NASH'S (P.O.V)*

At the movies.

"We should totally see a scary movie" I said enthusiastically. "Okay" Madison and Matt said. Once we were in the movie theatre we took front row seats, the order was me, Madison, and Matt. The movie started and Madison lifted my arm and put it around her. "Is it okay if I cuddle next to you, I'm kind of a chicken when it comes to scary movies"She said innocently. "Um ya, it's fine"I answered nervously. "K thanks"She said.

*MATT'S (P.O.V)*

During the movie I saw Nash and Madison talking but I couldn't hear them over all the screams. Madison reached over down to my leg and grabbed my hand. I looked up and she smirked at me. "Um I'm gonna go refill the bucket of popcorn."I said nervously while getting up with the empty bucket. "I'll go with you, I wanna get some candy"She said while getting up. "Um okay"I said and speed walked out of the theatre. "Matt" Madison called out when we were out the theatre room. I stopped and waited for her. "Matt there's something really important I need to tell you"She said seriously. "What is it" I asked nervously. "Matt I have feelings for you, and I don't wanna be just friends with you, I wanna be more than that."She said while looking up at me. "Um Madison, I don't know how I feel about you, and I've heard things about you." I said while rubbing my neck. "Things like what?" She asked. "I know you threw hot coffee at Breana's face, Beatriz told me"I said. "What!"She shrieked. "I would never do anything like that!" She said in disbelief. "Matt you have to believe me" "All three of us used to be best friends but then Beatriz and Breana pulled a prank on me and embarrassed me in front of the whole school." She said with tears rolling down her cheeks. I pulled her close to me and leaned in and kissed her. She was surprised at first, but then she kissed back, our lips moved together like they were made for  . Her arms wrapped around my neck intensifying the kiss. But during the kiss I couldn't help but think that this was so wrong, that this should be me and Beatriz, but at the same time it felt right, Beatriz was two-faced and only now had I seen her second face. Madison and I pulled away at the same time. We were both panting and out of breath, but we were both smiling. "I believe you and I know how I feel now"I said while smiling. I picked her up and spun her around. 

*BREANA'S (P.O.V)*

"There aren't any good movies"Beatriz complained. "Then lets watch the scary movie that's on right now"I suggested. "Ugh"She responded. "C'mon there's only an hour left" I whined. "Okay fine, but I'm cuddling with you."She said. "You cuddle with me even when I don't let you" I said while laughing. "What ever"She said while rolling her eyes but there was a smile plastered on her face. We walked into the theatre room the guy told us to go into and took a seat in the second row. The people sitting in front of us looked really familiar. "Beatriz"I whispered. "What" She whispered back. "Do those three sitting in front of us look familiar to you"I asked her. "Oh yaaaa, they do, maybe we've seen them around school."She said simply. Someone shushed us from behind us so we stopped talking and watched the rest of the movie.
