He winked!

He knew I was ogling. I've never been so embarrassed. He caught me staring. What do I do? I wish the very ground will open and swallow me. I tried to hide and concentrate on my dancing but who was I kidding?

I will be dammed if I let him see how affected I am by him. I made a mental note to disappear like Cinderella before the clock stroke at midnight. Let's see how he finds me after this party. Should I photobomb him? Perhaps I can find him later. Galina, what happened to your motto of not settling down?

I turned in his direction again but he was gone. Was it all a dream? If I had tasted even a drop of alcohol, i would blame it on the alcohol but he was here. The most handsome man I have ever seen. Dark, tall, handsome. Did I mention that he's handsome? And he smiled at me, not once but twice. He even winged.

I was so distracted, scanning the room again and then I spotted him. As soon as our eyes met, he gave me the most beautiful dazzling smile which melted my heart away. He had such an effect on me. I bet he has millions of girls eating from the palm of his hand. He was still smiling and staring at me. I could tell from the corner of my eyes. I was very much appalled as waves of emotions swept over me. I started feeling bashful. I felt his gaze penetrating through me and reaching the core of my being.

I was struggling to concentrate on the dance floor, what with all the emotional warfare within me. At this point, dancing was pure torture. I was kicked out at the next round lol. It was actually a relief for if I hadn't been kicked out, I would have fallen as my knees got weaker with each second that he smiled at me.

I made a beeline for a table at the right wing of the room close to the bar, glad for the opportunity to sit. I barely sat down when I heard a deep voice say ... "can i join you"? I turned to see who wanted to invade my space and met with the most beautiful pair of eyes I have ever seen. He smiled and I noticed he had a beautiful dentition. I was speechless. He looked even more beautiful when close. Somehow, he knew the effect he had on me. How could I concentrate with this hot guy here.

I pretended I had been bitten by something so I could pinch myself to be sure I wasn't dreaming. I was relieved to see that talking to him was effortless. The rest of the party blurred. Sean is his name. Sean McWiiliams, son of Ghana's Supreme Court Judge Justice Bruce Anafi McWilliams. His mum is from the Caribbean and also a Justice of the Supreme Court in London.

We had a lot in common. A successful neurosurgeon working with one of the best hospitals in London. Surely I have a lot to learn from this great man. Finally my bestfriends came looking for me. I introduced Sean to them and Ola started giggling. Silly girl. She even had Gyaba join her. I glared at them but they wouldn't stop.

I had had enough of the party and since they weren't ready to go home, Sean offered to drop me home. I accepted reluctantly. I wasn't sure of myself. Sean suggested we picked a stroll and I nodded, I had a feeling he didn't want the night to end either. We parked at the beach walked. I was surprised to see a lot of people walking about at this time of the day at the beach.

I started to shiver and he put his coat around me and drew me to him so I almost leaned on him as we sat down and watched people walk by. We talked about ourselves and our families and everything and anything. Finally, around 3am, he took me home. He was such a gentleman. We exchanged contacts and he waited for me to get in before he went to his car and drove off.
