AUTHOR'S NOTE -PLEASE PLEASE READ

alright so I'm going to be the first to say that this chapter sucks. I am writing this author's note now, in August 2013. This chapter (with it's original version) was published one year ago now. Get through the first few chapters and then the story will get good, I promise.

"I'm inlove." I sighed. Oh god. Please don't tell me my life is now a chickflick.

"No you aren't Harry, you've never met the girl." Zayn stated.

"Don't you believe in love at first sight?" I asked. Zayn rolled his eyes. Besides it isn't like I've just seen a picture of her, she sings. She posts videos of her singing to YouTube and Twitter, and I have fallen inlove with her. She has a beautiful, calming, acoustic sounding voice that I want to hear in person so desperately. She isn't famous or anything. I don't think she wants to be famous to be honest. She's explained in a video that she just likes to share her music. Which is lovely. 'Isn't she lovelyyy' I thought of the song I auditioned with on the X Factor. Wow. How ironic.

"Harry snap out of it." Louis said while snapping fingers between my face and the computer screen which was opened to her twitter (@itsNahleen). "You've never met this girl, what if she's a bitch or something and you don't even know, stop wasting your time."

"Her name is Nahleen, not the girl" I said while standing up from the desk in mine and Louis' house. "And I will meet her. Mark my words." Harry Styles - the one and only - doesn't give up.

"She lives in New York. It's not possible. You won't meet her" Zayn butted in.

"Watch me." I said while shutting the laptop fiercly and walked into my room.

(Nahleen's P.O.V.)

We have One Direction tickets. Madison Square Garden. Front row. Backstage passes.

I walked into school that day for the first time with a huge stupid grin on my face. Natalie and I had just won One Direction tickets moments ago. I felt like I was on top of the world.

Apparently everyone knew because probably about ten girls ran up to Nat and I asking us how we dialed the phone number so fast, how I knew Louis' birthday that well and how we got so lucky. A couple girls I noticed stood by lockers in the corner, staring at us with harsh expressions, they must be jealous.

Honestly this is the first time I had talked to this many people at once, usually I hung out with the same three girls; Natalie and two other girls named Trinity and Margaret. And that was it.

At that moment the bell rang and I flicked my long brown hair over my shoulder as Nat and I linked arms and headed to the one class we had together which was History. We walked down the hallways like we owned the place, with huge, stupid smiles planted on our faces. Life is great.

I tossed my backpack on the floor as I burst through the front door of our little townhouse. I sprinted upstairs to my laptop. I needed to update my Twitter, Facebook, and Tumblr about the events of the day. I flung my laptop open and went straight for Twitter. I typed in my username (@itsNahleen) and password. I clicked 'compose a new tweet'. I had 140 characters to write the best tweet ever.

@itsNahleen - I WON ONE DIRECTION BACKSTAGE PASSES. I am utterly speechless. Best day EVER. xx

Honestly I wasn't speechlesss but it sounded good in the tweet. And then it hit me, I was going to meet One Direction.

(Harry's P.O.V.)

"GUYS YOU WON'T BELIEVE THIS!" I yelled from my room. The rest of the boys (Niall, Liam and Zayn) were over at Louis' and I's place while I was in my bedroom, angry about how they all explained to me that I was never going to meet Gabi. They are so wrong.

Liam opened the door "What? Do you want more popcorn?"

"No" I said. Couldn't he tell this was important? Liam stood there patiently. I stood up and walked out the door into the living space and jumped down on the couch. They all stared at me as Liam made his way back to his place on the armchair.

I decided to start "I am going to meet Nahleen."

They automatically rolled their eyes.

"I'm serious, she won backstage passes to our show." I stated with a huge grin plastered on my face. They all stared at me in disbelief.

But this was it, I was going to meet Nahleen. I have no clue why I am so obsessed over her but there is something about her. No not just her pictures or even her singing videos but... her.

Suddenly song lyrics from one of my favorite songs fell into my head -Ed Sheeran's song 'Kiss Me' - Which by the way was getting on my last nerves now 'cause it's been stuck in my head.

"I'm falling for your eyes, but they don't know me yet"
