It would mean so much if you voted for this. Please.

(Nahleen's's P.O.V.)

"3,2,1.... GO!" I yelled as both Harry and I leaped into the giant leaf pile I had created.

"Now what?" Harry questioned.

"What do you mean, now what? It's a LEAF PILE. And a very big one I might add"

"That's what she said" of course Harry would say that "But seriously, what now?"

"You suck. Your no fun" I told him. He seriously didn't know what to do in a leaf pile. Harry put his hands up in defeat. I stood up deciding I didn't want to teach an eighteen year old how to play in a leaf pile.

"Maybe we can try again another day" I stated. Realizing my mistake and regretting my words.

"Hey! You want to see me another day! That means this isn't our last date"

I snapped at him "No! This isn't a date. We're friends Harry".

Harry rolled his perfect green eyes in disbelief. God He's attractive.

What?

No.

Don't think those things Nahleen. stupid. stupid. stupid.

I instantly blocked that thought out of my mind to notice the curly-headed boy staring at me like I was crazy. "It's not a date" I told him once more. I thought that maybe... he would look sad. But he didn't seem to have an expression whatsoever.

Later

I jumped onto my comfortable twin bed (yes I still had a twin bed) in relief. It was a long day. After my .... er... get-together with Harry I had to go to work. I had to get money for college somehow.

I worked at a camera store in the mall. I didn't know anything about cameras. I was usually the cashier which wasn't too bad. But sometimes they made me greet everyone that came in It sucked. 'Hello' was a word I didn't think I would ever say more than four times a day. I used to love that word actually, it was warm and welcoming. But now I want to beat it to death. Harsh, maybe. But you don't even know until you've worked as a greeter. Atleast it pays alright.

But I did meet Natalie at work, so that was always an uplifter. Besides working and going to school, I usually spent my time at home playing guitar and singing, often practicing so I could put up a new singing video. I wasn't the most popular singer on YouTube (as there are quite a few) but I did have a fair amount of subscribers and views. I wasn't necessarily trying to become famous but more so trying to be discovered.

And somehow through all of this Harry found me. Is it fate? Ha. I bet next week he'll forget all about me, just leaving that un-played with leaf pile to blow away in the middle of central park. And then it will be over.

Like it never happened.

"I CAN'T BELIEVE IT. NAL YOU ARE THE LUCKIEST GIRL... ON THE PLANET." Natalie yelled at me through the speaker of my iPhone. It's normal, Nat's always like this. Don't think twice about it.

I held the phone further away from my ear "Shutup Nat! You're going to make me go deaf"

"AND. HE. HELD. YOUR. HAND." she annuciated every word.

"It's not a big deal"

"NOT A BIG DEAL?!?"

"shhhh!"

"ARE YOU KIDDING IT'S NOT A... oh sorry. Are you kidding? It's not a big deal?" She whispered the last part obviously having a hard time keeping quiet.
