(Nahleen's P.O.V.)
It's the night of the concert, maybe the best night of my life. I was at Nat's house now to get ready for the concert.
"What about this?" Nat asked as she held up a plain blue flowy tank top.
"Uhh no. It's a little boring" I said
"This?" She asked holding up a skin tight, black short dress.
"God no. You'll look like a slut. Seriously how did you go from plain blue tank top to girls gone wild?" I asked. "And why do you even have that?"
"I don't. It's my sister's." Natalie shrugged.
I padded across the floor and stepped into Natalie's walk-in closet. I searched the racks of clothing until I found the perfect outfit for Nat to wear. I walked out as she waited, sitting cross-legged on her bed. I held up the first part - a cute, yellow flowy tank top with lace details (She was pretty and blonde so she looks good in yellow- or atleast I think she does). Natalie nodded with a smile on her face, she knew I was best at picking out her outfits. And I also held up a pair of distressed, blue, denim shorts and her white converse.
"It's..." Nat started to say, "PERFECT! Thankyou!" I waved her off as I stared into my relfection to look at my own attire.
I was wearing an oversized, crochet, gray, off-the-shoulder t-shirt, blue denim shorts and brown gladiators. I didn't want to over-due it or anything like that so I thought this would be good.
"Let's do our hair!" I exclaimed.
Nat decided she wanted to do my hair so un-willingly I gave in and let her. Nat is great but I remember one time 3 years ago she decided to do my hair for the school dance. She ended up burning my ear with her straightner and leaving my hair practically half-done. I managed to fix it but since then I have never really let her near straightners (-or anything that you plug in) since then.
"Just stay still okay?" Nat asked. I nodded. I was sitting cross-legged on Natalie's bed while she sat on her knees behind me misting some heat protectant through my long brown hair.
Ten minutes later I stared down at the hair that she had already worked on and had tossed over my shoulder, and it looked... good. She had curled it into big, bouncy curls so perfectly. I was shocked and instantly had a grin on my face, maybe this really was my night.
Once she was done with my hair I stood up and looked into her full-length mirror once more and realized... I actually looked really good (not trying to sound self-absorbed or anything I promise!)!
"Thankyou Nat!" I said as I turned around to her sitting on her bed nervously- probably scared she had messed up my hair. She instantly smiled when she saw that I liked it. I held out my arms and we hugged. Natalie had already done her hair and makeup so I quickly pulled my makeup out of my fringe purse. I started with face makeup and then added a thin line of liquid eyeliner with a small wing to my upper lash line and finished with mascara.
"Okay Nat. Before we leave can you promise me something super important?" I asked. Natalie nodded. "Alright first things first, let's not act too starstrucked or anything when we meet them, let's act cool." Natalie nodded in agreement. "Also let's not tell the boys that I can sing or that I make singing videos and post them to Twitter and YouTube. I know you like to tell people that but it will sound kind of forced, you know?" I said.
