He grabs my shirt hard and pulls me to his face. "Boy, did I say you could leave?" He growls and I stare at him quietly. He shakes me harshly. "Answer me!" He snaps and turns and throws me on the floor. I wince lightly and push myself up onto my elbows. "No, I just needed some things from the store." I say and he glares. He walks to me and slams his foot into my nose. I fall back and hit my head on the floor. I can feel the blood trickling out of my nose before I can push myself back up. "Don't you ever leave this house without letting me know your whereabouts." He says as he walks to the kitchen.
I push myself up. "You were watching tv and I didn't want to bother you." I say and wipe my nose on my shirt sleeve. He pulls a beer out of the fridge and starts walking back to the couch. "Then that's final. If I'm busy you can't leave." He says and sits down. I walk to my room silent and close my door and lock it. I hold my bag in my hand and my grip tightens as I growl. "This is dumb. Why was I put into this family?! I didn't choose this." I say and throw the bag onto the floor and the contents inside of it spill out. I sigh and lean down and start picking up the items and there's a flash outside and soon after thunder booms loudly.
The rain comes down hard on the top of our trailer and I look out the window. 'Another storm' I think and lean against my wall and slide down it. I run a hand through my hair and slide it behind my head and lay my head back onto it. 'I have to face this alone. No one at school cares and my mother doesn't even act like I'm alive' I think and sigh. I hold a gauze and open it up. I lay it on my lap as I sit up and pull my jacket off. I lay the gauze on my wrist and unwrap some bandages and start wrapping my wrist. 'I'll try to get some sleep after this' I think and finish and do the same to my other wrist.
I stand up and put the rest of the items into my drawer of random stuff. I walk to my bed and lay down and pull the cover over me as I turn onto my side to face the wall. The rain his the window hard as the wind picks up and another round of lightning flashes. Thunder booms shortly after and the lights flicker. I close my eyes lightly and soon fall asleep.
