My 10th birthday wow I wonder what I would get! I hurried down the stairs in my favorite hoodie with fake cat ears as my family gathered around a table. I sat in my spot and they gave me a few gifts before they said this was the last one. I looked in confusion as I examined the medium sized box. I slowly untied the ribbon and just as it fell to the floor the lid popped off and a black haired boy with mix matching blue and green eyes jumped out. He crouched by my feet and I gasped as I saw a black tail and matching ears.
I smiled widely as I placed a hand onto his head. And that was how I became best friend with my kitty boy, Jax.
