Juan found himself in the garden, wandering it's maze of bushes. When he reached it's end, he saw her.
"Sarah?".
She had sat at the edge of a pond, dragging her fingers in it's water, lost in thought. She snapped out of it at the sound of her name. Seeing Juan, she stood. She wore only her bed clothes, and felt exposed. As though he could see right into the core of her heart, and know it was shattered into a million pieces. She grabbed her robe tight around her avoiding his gaze. But, she did not move to leave.
He rushed to her, forgetting himself. He gathered her in his arms, showering her face with kisses, murmuring her name over and over again. She relished his embrace, his lips against her skin. She clung to him, feeling so safe in his strong arms.
He loosened his grip on her, so he could look at her. Her long, black curls hung freely, blowing in the breeze around her. He pushed them off her face, his dark eyes searching her light ones. He noticed they were a different shade of grey then they usually were, reflecting her sadness.
"Sarah", he whispered, cupping her face. "I am lost without you. I cannot eat or sleep. I find no peace in anything I do".
Her eyes filled with tears. "I am the same".
"We must stop this madness then, no? We must be together?".
She bit her lip, shaking her head. "I...I don't know how to be what you want me to be".
"I don't want you to be anything, other than mine".
Suddenly, she kissed him. With more passion than he had ever known from her. She knelt on the ground, pulling him with her. She released him, removing her robe. He watched her, fascinated, as she dropped her night gown over her shoulders, revealing her breasts to him. "I am yours. Even if we are not meant to be, I will always be yours. Let me lay with you. Let my first time be with someone I love, and who loves me. Let me feel it. Let me know how a man should love a woman, so I may never settle for anything less".
He reached for her, his finger trailing over her nipple. It became hard, instantly, at his touch. He replaced his finger with his mouth, desperate to taste her. She moaned, gripping his hair. He groaned, murmuring her name as he dragged his tongue to the other breast, taking the nipple between his teeth and tugging gently. He looked at her as his fingers moved under her skirt, his fingertips grazing her vagina. She looked away, her face red. He dropped his hand, pulling her dress back up to cover her breasts.
She looked at him, hurt and confused. "You don't want me?".
He kissed her hungrily. "I've never wanted anyone more. But, not like this. Not on the ground, in the dirt. Not with your heart so filled with uncertainty".
She felt foolish. She hastily replaced her robe, clutching it around her.
"Don't be embarrassed, my love", he said, sweetly. "You asked me to love you as a man should, and I will honour that. Come with me to my chambers".
He stood, holding his hand to her. "Come".
She took his hand, standing. "I fear I will lose my nerve if we wait a moment longer".
Without warning, he swept her up in his arms, making her squeal in delight. "Then I shall hurry, before you can change your mind". He bounded out of the garden, up the stairs of the castle and towards his chambers, as though he wasn't holding a full grown woman in his arms. She laughed the entire time, truly carefree for the first time since they'd met.
When they arrived at his chambers, he stopped before his attendant. She became embarrassed, hiding her face in his shirt. Surely, the attendant knew what was about to happen. He laughed, finding her inexperience to be adorable. He commanded the attendant bring wine, fruit, and bread to the room before kicking his door open. He carried her into his chambers, looking at her with eyes filled with lust, making her blush. He laid her gently on the bed, returning to the door, to close it.
