Christmas With the Malfoys

I got off the train and found Draco with his parents. I could never figure out why, but they were always a lot nicer to me than they were to my brother and his friends. They even invited me to stay with them this summer!

"Good afternoon, Raven," Mrs. Malfoy said. "Hi," I said. We left the train station by portkey. The Malfoy Manor was the biggest mansion I'd ever seen. There was a wealthy area near me that had at least one mansion I knew of but this was huge.

"Where were you?" Draco asked as we carried our trunks upstairs to his room. "I couldn't find you, so I found a seat with Rebecca and the two new professors taking Lupin's spot for a while," I said. "Professors?" he repeated, sitting down on his bed. "Yeah," I told him, "They're twins. They told me to just call them Dante and Vergil. The word, 'Professor' didn't fit to well with them." "Dante and Vergil? You don't mean the twin sons of Sparda?" he asked. "Huh?" I asked making a dumb expression on my face.

He went into his trunk and pulled out a book and handed it to me: History of Magical Creatures. "Whoa, Hermione," I joked looking down at the red book. The title was golden. I looked at Draco and decided to ask a question that he wasn't going to understand, "Are they from a video game like Emily?" "Yes. Though, the book doesn't say exactly what," he answered. I smirked. "Would you be willing to go London with me?" I asked him. "Muggles, Raven," he sighed, almost laughing. "Maybe we can find a store that sells whatever game they're from!" I exclaimed. "You're lucky my parents like you," he said.

I grabbed my North Face jacket out of my trunk while Draco went to ask his parents. "They said yes, but they said stay together and no magic unless it's an emergency," he said, "Oh and no befriending Muggles." "Alright, rich boy, well do you have any normal clothing?" I asked. "No," he replied. "I stole some blue jeans and a sweatshirt from my brother," I replied, tossing him the things I just said. "You are kidding me," he said. "Nope," I smiled and waited outside for him to change. He came out and said, "I look ridiculous." "You look adorable," I hugged him tightly.

London

I was surprised to find a GameStop in London. Draco and I went in. We found Crash Bandicoot, Grand Theft Auto, Call of Duty, and I continued to look for maybe Dante's name, Vergil's name, possibly a cover with one of them on it.

"I can't believe we're concerned about this when Sirius Black is on the loose," he said while I was still looking. I was at the front of the shop when, "AHA! I found it," I pulled it off the shelf showing Draco. "Wizards don't have TVs," Draco said. "I brought my computer with me," I explained. I went to find the PC version, which I did successfully and bought it. The store was happy to take American dollars, luckily.

As soon as we stepped out of GameStop, guess who we saw? "Raven," Draco elbowed me. He pointed up the block. I looked at Draco. "They're in plain sight," I whispered. It was Dante and Vergil. I walked in their direction and Draco reluctantly followed.

"You're in plain view of Muggles," I said. They weren't surprised to see me at all. "You actually think they see us?" Dante asked, smirking. "It's a masking spell. Humans are oblivious to it," Vergil explained. Draco looked confused for a moment and then remembered they weren't human.

"I see you went to GameStop," Dante pointed out my GameStop bag. I grabbed Draco's hand. I couldn't figure out why, but the PTSD was making me feel like I'd get in trouble for buying this game. "I didn't get anything. "Really," Dante replied, rolling his eyes and rudely grabbing the bag from my hand. He smirked. "DmC: Devil may Cry," he read. "You've got to be kidding me." "Leave her alone, Dante," Vergil said, grabbing the game, putting it in the GameStop bag and giving it back to me, "She's only curious. I'm not shocked. I heard her best friend is from Pirates of the Caribbean Online."

"Raven, I think we have to go," Draco announced, dragging me away.

We got back to the mansion and Draco went to change right away. I pulled my laptop out of my trunk and downloaded the game to it. I discovered that their home was invaded and their mother was murdered and their father suffered "a fate worse than death." This sounded like Lord Voldemort. That alone scared me.

Christmas

I woke up to see a large owl tweeting in my face. Hedwig's sister: Nightcloud, which ironically, is my owl. She dropped a letter from Harry and my parents on me. Draco was probably downstairs celebrating how rich he is (and I won't deny I am a bit jealous of his wealth).

I decided to read my brother's letter first. He's been hellbent on figuring out what Sirius Black has to do with him.

Raven,

Black is said to be within the castle, but no one has found him or seen him. I don't have permission to go to Hogsmeade but maybe you and I can sneak in when you return to Hogwarts. I have a feeling it's important we visit Hogsmeade.

Love,

Harry

My brother is always a rule breaker and I'll only break rules if it's with him, that's how scared I am of getting in trouble. I have a good feeling about Dante and Vergil. Maybe they can get him into Hogsmeade without getting caught by the residents there.

I'm very unusual, when it comes to what I'm wearing. When I'm not in classes, I'm usually wearing band t-shirts I bought from Hot Topic back in the U.S. I got on a pair of black skinny jeans, an Iron Maiden sweater, and went to find Draco and as I guessed, he was being the rich boy he is with his parents.

I walked into the living room, and said, "Good morning." Draco had a new broomstick in hand. Harry and I don't usually get the newest model of anything, simply because I'm too lazy to do anything so the only new stuff we've got since I started Hogwarts is school robes and school books.

"Good morning," Narcissa kindly greeted. Lucius seemed very quiet since I've gotten here. I then realized, I'm Harry Potter's sister. Of course he'd be bothered by that. I'll just let it go for now. If he goes anywhere near Harry, I will be the defensive sister I am.

The evening was decent. We had a feast of four and then Draco and I went upstairs.

"I'm Harry's sister," I whispered as we walked into his room. He closed the door behind him. "Yes, and?" he replied. "I can tell when people are bothered and your father seems to be bothered by it," I told him. "I'm keeping my word. It won't change anything between us," he said. Suddenly we heard a loud CRACK and guess who showed up.

"Good Lord, I can't take another minute of my mom," Emily sighed. "You're allowed to apparate?" Draco asked. "Just to clarify, in this time period, I'm nearly 300 years old, so yes," she said, "So how are you love birds doing?" "Just because- No- I hate you, Darkvane," I growled. "That sounds fantastic. I heard your brother was looking to sneak into Hogsmeade," she looked at me questioningly. "Yes, he is, and I am going to see if I can get Dante and Vergil to help me out," I said. "PROFESSORS!"she corrected me. "They told me I could call them without the word professor in front of their names," I retorted. "Alright then, but do you actually think they'd help Harry?" she asked. "One of them was hitting on me on the train, the other got me away from him," I said, "So yes."
