A Noob's Hole Home

So after that horror movie, I still had the craving for more scary adventures. I made a new world and spawned not knowing what to expect. I finally spawned in a normal area, there were birch and oak wood trees, no water in sight except for a small lake or a puddle here and there, and grassy grounds with plenty of peaceful mobs. I started by getting some wood, then making a workbench, and last, a wooden sword. I went around and killed some sheep so I could make a bed and picked some beauteous flowers.

"I still can't find a good food source," I complained. I searched all over the grassy plaines for pigs, cows, and chicken but I couldn't find any. Soon enough, it started to become dark and fear grew inside me. "At least this time I know how to place blocks," I said. I went directly under a tree and dug down three blocks.

I dug a little more, placed down my bed, and tried to sleep but there was a monster nearby. Another stupid spider lurked above my hole hissing and crawling. Hmmmm. I knew what to do! I could make a mine!

I started to break stone with my wooden pickaxe in a staircase fashion until my wooden pick broke and I made a stone one. I smelted some iron, made a trap door and some ladders to get in and out of my hole, I even ended up killing the spider (after I realized that they were friendly during the day); I was getting off to a great start! But then, one day when I was mining and I heard a zombie. I was so far underground and it was the middle of the day! "There's no way that there's a zombie here!" I shouted.

I shivered in fear and I gnawed on my nails. "Are there mobs underground?!?! Did I not light up my mine well enough?!?!" I screamed, petrified as I placed torches down like crazy. I ran back up the mine staircase and sat down. I brought my knees up to my chest and wrapped my arms around them.

I hunched over and rocked back and forth humming until the toon of the growling left my head and I could no longer hear it. I calmly rocked until it was night time, then I stood up and moved to my bed. I was lucky enough that the zombie was far enough away so I could sleep.

~Nightmare~

I wondered around my new world, poking and petting peaceful mobs. I strolled around, stomping on the grass and flowers then, I suddenly fell down a strange one block hole. I punched a creeper on the way down, then looked around to see a surplus of water and lavafalls. I looked down, realizing that I was still falling and was in store for a hard impact on the stone ground. I began to scream and flap my arms but it didn't help.

I hit the ground and died. I respawned into the dark night. I ran away from the mobs dropping by me and ended up in a desert. Harsh, cold winds blew. I shivered as I walked, nearly knocked over by the small sandstorms.

Suddenly the ground turned to stone and I found my little mine sitting under a random stone oasis. A single tree sat in the middle of the desert to mark my home. I opened the door, climbed down the ladder, and waited the night out. For whatever reason, I did not wish to sleep, all I wanted to do was think about that strange opening in the ground. When I saw the rays of the sun shine through my trap door I began to mine.

I walked down the stone staircase and broke the next two blocks. Suddenly a hoard of zombies flew into my mine and I died instantly, soon viewing the red tinted screen and a dark chat message.

~End of Nightmare~

I sat right up in bed sweating. The chat now read, "There is now a monster nearby, you may not sleep." God dangit! I peered out of my trap door and didn't see any mobs, only the slow rising sun. I walked back to my bed and leaned against a wall then I heard a piercing growl.

I jumped out of my skin and quickly pressed escape and save and quit to title in fear. I screamed and threw a pillow at the wall, slammed the laptop shut, kicked the chair, and stomped away.

AN: Tehee I love writing these, LOL. Sorry for not posting "Mini Minecraft Stories", but as you can see, I have a barricade in my way. Just a small brick wall though, I will be able to climb over it soon. All I need is a rope and some cleats.
