I actually started writing this story a while back, but got so caught up in school that I never finished it:( I have gotten a lot of positive feedback for it from others, but wanted some different opinions!(:

“Carolyna!”

I turned around to see my best friend Evan Jackson walk up beside me.

Now let me introduce myself. My name is Carolyna Reed Weston and I am a sophomore at River Ridge High School. I am about 5’6” and weigh about 110 pounds. I play basketball, soccer, volleyball, and run track. I also am part of theatre. I have bright blue eyes and long black hair that reaches mid-back.

Evan and I have known each other since we were in 4th grade. Him and his family moved right across the street from me and my family. Our parents soon became really good friends and then at the end of 4th grade, we became really good friends. Our 4th grade summer, we were almost always together. We both played soccer and basketball, so we practiced together all of the time. We are very, very close and are always there for each other.

Evan is probably one of the hottest guys in our school, even if he is my best friend.

He is about 6 feet tall, and was very well muscled, but not too much. He has shaggy brown hair that

falls into his dark green eyes. He has a bright smile that goes along with his bright personality. He is a

sweetheart and one of the funnest guys to be around, but he also had a temper at times, and is very

protective.

He is also one of the populars. Quarterback of the football team. Captain of the soccer and basketball

team. Musically talented in singing, guitar, drums, and almost everything you could think of. He is also

on the A Honor Roll constantly.

He is a pretty amazing guy at almost everything he does.

Including being my best friend.

“What’s up?” I smiled.

“Nothing much. Going to class...” he said, making a face.

“Awww. Does little Evie not like school?” I asked, pinching his cheek.

He slapped my hand away and glared at me, causing me to laugh. “You’re so mean to me,” he said,

looking down. His long brown hair fell into his eyes, and he started pouting.

“I love you best friend!” I smiled, bumping my hip into his.

He looked up at me and smiled, his bright green eyes shining. “I love you too, best friend!” he said,

happily.

He threw his right arm around my shoulder and we walked down the hall bumping hips with each

other, laughing like crazy.

“You two are crazy!” we heard from behind us.

We turned around to see Evan’s older sister, Adalyn, behind us.

Adalyn and Evan look exactly alike.

They both have dark brown hair, bright green eyes, and bright smiles. They have personalities that

could light up a room. They are two of the funniest and wittiest people I have ever met.

“Says your face!” Evan said, smiling.

“You’re right. My face did say it!” she smiled.

“And you call us crazy!” I laughed, playfully punching her on the arm.
