"Car! Lyn!"
Adalyn and I looked around to see who was calling our names, and saw it was Adalyn's mom, Meredith, sitting with her five year old son, Cason Alec, and 2 year old daughter, Kaylee Brenae.
The little girl's brown hair was tucked up in her black crochet hat that had a bow that was adorned with blue polka dots, black with blue polka dots as well as blue blue ribbon and two types of pink ribbon.
Under her blue and black North Face, she wore a zebra print tunic with pink ruffles around the collar and pink and blue ruffles around the bottom. For pants, she wore black leggings with pink and blue ruffles at the ends. To finish off the outfit, zebra print ' Mary-Jane's' with blue ribbon adorned her feet. And of course, over her leggings, she had to wear her favorite tutu!
"Tarolyna!' Kaylee smiled when we reached their seats.
"Hey, Kayleebug!' I said, picking her up.
She was so adorable! She reminded me a lot of my little sister, Bristol.
"Tutu!" she giggled, pointing to her zebra print and hot pink tutu.
"I see it!" I smiled, as I sat down between Meredith and Cason.
"Carli's here!" Cason smiled, as he tried to hop up on the bleacher seats.
"Kay, sit right here so I can help Bubba," I said, sitting her between me and Meredith, and I turned and sat Cason on the seat.
"Thank you!" he exclaimed, his eyes shining.
"You're welcome!" I smiled.
Because Evan and I are best friends, and we are so close to each other's families, it feels like we are more like a giant family, and not just close friends.
We help take of each other's younger siblings, so we are very close to them also.
We all watched as the team came out of their locker room, and as soon as Kaylee spotted her brother, her eye's lit up.
"Evie!" she cried out, smiling and waving.
Evan looked around until he found who was calling his name, and when he saw it was Kaylee, who was standing in my lap with me holding onto her, her hands waving to her brother wildly, he started laughing, and waved to her.
Evan was pretty crazy about his baby brother and sister and would do anything for them.
"Mommy! I'm hungry!" Cason told his mom.
"I'm sorry sweetheart, but I have to wait for Daddy," she said, looking at her son apologetically.
"I can take him. I'm getting kind of hungry, also," I told Meredith.
"You just ate an hour ago!" Adalyn told me, eyes wide in disbelief.
"And? That doesn't make me any less hungry!" I stated, standing up.
"Let's go.." Lyn muttered.
As Adalyn, Carson, Kaylee, and I approached the concession stand, we heard a voice behind us.
"Hey, Carli! Hey, Adalyn!"
We turned around to see one of the seniors, Matt, walking up to us.
"Hey, Matt!" Adalyn smiled, while I just smiled and waved.
Matt was pretty cool, even though he could be a jerk sometimes. When is by himself, he is really sweet, though.
We have actually known each other for a while; ever since Adalyn and Evan moved to town. Matt and Evan were actually really close friends despite their age difference, but that changed when Evan entered high school. They talk every once in a while, but not very often.
