Chapter 4

I woke up three hours later, to Wally trying to wake me up.
"Sage needs you," he said.

I grabbed him and jumped off my bed. I went to the kids room and Justice was sitting up in bed glaring at Sage's crib. I pick her up and changed her diaper and then took her to our kitchen and made breakfast.

The door opened and Sarah and Marco, the current trapeases duo, came in.
"Good morning." I said.
"Morning." Marco said.
"How are you?" Sarah signed. She was deaf and communicated though sign language.
"I'm good, late night." I Said as I signed.
"Mama," Justice moaned as he shuffled in. I picked him up,
"are you still tired?" I asked. He nodded.
"Go sleep in Mommy's bed," I put him down and he went to my room.
"Why is he so tired?" Marco asked.
"Late night last night." I said. "He was helping me make sure everything was together and my Aerial silks together."

I gave my fussy daughter her breakfast and she calmed down as she ate. I gave Wally his breakfast and he smiled.
"He's such a good boy." Sarah signed.
My phone started ringing. I picked it up and saw it was Jason.
"Sorry this is my brother in law I should take this." I said.
"Go ahead, we'll watch the little ones." Marco said.

I went into my children's room and sat on Justice's bed.
"Hey Jason what's up?" I asked.
"Not really what I was expecting you to say." I smiled.
"You have no idea how excited it is to hear your voice." I said.
"It's good to hear your voice." Dick Said. "I'm sorry We had to leave so early last night. We had to catch the train. You should know how it is. The train leaves with or without you." I said making Dick laughed.
"How are things going with out me?" Dick asked.
"Good, the other acrobats have taken me in. They're always asking me how I'm doing and offering to watch Wally and Sage." I said.
"The circus is like family." Dick Said.
"I see why you loved this place so much." I said.
"I miss it. I wish I was there with you." Dick Said.
"I do too," I said.
"How are the kids?"
"They're great, Justice is currently sleeping off the mission. I don't think he's ready for this. How you did this at his age, I don't know." I said.
"I don't know either." Dick laughed.
"I've missed your laugh." I smiled.
"I'll try to visit you soon, I've got to finish this mission in Gotham and then I'll try to visit you." Dick Said.
"I'd like that." I said.
"Hey I've got to go, tell the kids I love them and give them a kiss for me." Dick Said.
"I will, take care of your self."
"I will, bye sweetie."
"Bye baby." I hung up and went back to the kitchen.
Sage was a mess I picked her up.
"Sorry that was an old friend." I said to Marco.
"It's fine we should go." He and Sarah then left.
