Beyond the Wall (A Newt Fanfic)

Prolouge

It was always on the news. Sickness. Teens gone missing. The heat was getting worse. Everyday was a struggle to get through.

I live with my dad. I lost my mom when I was born. He always told me that we were the same person and we couldn't live on this earth at the same time so she gave her life for me to live. I never knew her. But my dad is my best friend and I don't know what I would do without him.

The Flare is what they would call it. It was a voilent brain parasite that would turn you into something terrible. Some were immune, some weren't. I don't know if I am or not.

There were many teens that had gone missing. No one knows where they went. It was usually one boy and a girl every month. They haven't been found.

There needed to be an evacuation, I don't know why, it seemed that no one knew. Everyone was scared. Not me. I was more confused, and curious.

Then, out of nowhere, a large man grabbed me, and took me away from my dad. I screamed as I watched him try to run through the people to get to me. I screamed as I punched the man who was carrying me. That was it.

Now, children, this is a romance, but with many twists, and many turns. So, you better buckle up, Shanks.
