Jamila Jaden
Her Silence Broken
Jamila slipped out the side door and headed for her vehicle. She was escaping and headed for over the pack's border before the pack wide mandatory meeting was called once again.
She has no link to the pack group mind link seeing as she was injected with wolfsbane many years ago, before she could actually shift for the first time.
It's not like she'd be missed at all. She wasn't initiated into the pack at 16 because her parents didn't want her to be. The wolfsbane injected into her was to also stop that from happening.
Now that she was 18 and newly graduated, she was planning her escape. She headed for her school to get her marks, then she was leaving.
Her parents had pulled her out of the regular school all the other pack members went to and enrolled her over the border into an all human school when she turned 10.

With no link to the pack, once she got her grades and diploma Jamila packed up her vehicle with her belongings from her locker. Since she didn't even feel her wolf anymore, she hightailed it out of there, escaping.
She left her parents, older brother Corman and sister Kimberly. Both who were well aware what their parents did and not once took her side in anything.
She left her tiny room stinking like bleach, took all the photo albums from her youth that they had with the few only existing photos of her and packed them in her vehicle as not one of her pictures had ever been professionally taken nor put up on the wall and the albums were put up away in the attic so no one saw them.
The few pictures of her stopped being taken when she turned 10, before she was basically treated differently. She also grabbed her medical file, the one that was taken from the pack infirmary many years ago. Done so by her parents so the pack Doctor wouldn't notice seeing as he had never examined her after she was born. She was never taken for an exam, never injected at 16 like the others so she was unprotected.
Since she was 11 yrs old though, she took herself to a free medical clinic and sat with a nurse where she was subjected to a thorough testing and given birth control. She lied of course and fudged her parents signatures to get them.
Her body had matured faster than Kimberly's so she didn't look as young as her age. She had a life that no one knew about as she had been left alone at home with a strict warning about her not ever going to the pack house as the others took off to the pack house.
She had full time and part time jobs to give her spending money to help buy her used car. Her parents bought her few clothes and she purchased others on her own at a second hand shop.
She drove away without looking back because her parents wanted her out of the house for good anyways. So be it she thought as she drove away. They got what they wanted.

Many thousands of miles and a few years later, Jamila was working and finishing up going through University she enrolled herself in.
She had plans after she finished. With help from another lone she-wolf, Jamila acquired the antidote for the wolfsbane poisoning.
She waited until she finished University before she planned on taking it. She had to go through a medical lab who took vials of her blood, cheek swabs then hair and nails samples and sent it all off to the address her friend got a hold of. She sent it all off and in return, the antidote was sent back to her.
They sent a letter back with the antidote saying her blood was saturated with the poison and the Doctor had sent three vials for her to take slowly and not all at the same time.
