Meet Patches

Jezabell's POV

We arrive at the pet store and I'm way too excited to sit still. I can see daddy in the mirror rolling his eyes at me, so I stick my tongue out at him jokingly until he parks and gets put to get me.

I sway back and forth until he unbuckles me and picks me up out of my seat. I wrap my arms around his neck and we walk into the pet store. As soon as we walk in, I see all these different pets and get excited.

Cats, dogs, hamsters, mice, snakes, guinea pigs, fill the room. Daddy sets me down and I run straight to the kitties. Black and white kitty's, orange kitty's, multicolored kittys. So many kittys!!!!

"Only one kitten princess," daddy says from behind me which startles me a bit. I nod my head slowly as I continue to stare at the kittens trying to decide which one I want. There's way too many to choose from.

I then lay my eye on one specific kitty. He looks so scared and alone so I lift him up out of the box carefully and hold him close to my chest. It purs and squirms a bit as I pet it.

"Dis one daddy, I wan dis one," I say calmly as I pet the little kitty in my arms. Daddy nods and walks with me up to the lady to pay for the kitty. I pick out a cute little blue collar for him.

We walk out of the store and I hold the little kitty in my arms. "What's his name gonna be princess?" A stand there and think for a moment. "Patches daddy. His name will bes Patches," I say with confidence and walk to the car and wait for daddy to help me in and buckle me up.

We head home and I play with the kitty a bit on the way home. "Hey daddy? Can we go gets toys and stuffs first?" I ask petting the kitty. "Of course baby girl, you'll have to stay in the car by yourself while I run in and grab stuff," I pout a bit but nod my head.

Daddy pulls into the parking lot and parks the car. "I'm gonna lock the car as soon as I get out. And you do not unlock the car until daddy gets back ok?" I look up at him and not my head, "Yes daddy." As I say that, he gets out of the car and I hear the doors lock and watch daddy walk into the store.

I set Patches on my lap and uses a string I found on the seat next to me to play with him. I watch as the people pass by and wait patiently for daddy.

After what felt like forever, daddy come out of the store with bags in his hands. I unlock the door as he comes closer to the car. "Did you make sures to gets eeeverything??" I ask as he hands me the bags and sits down. "Yes princess I got everything Patches would need," daddy says and starts to drive home.

I smile super big and grab one of the new toys, and play with Patches as we drive home. But before we even reach the house, I pass out in my seat snuggling my little kitty. My new best friend.
