One day the firl was waiting for the library to open on a perfect, sunny Saturday morning. She was skipping through the grass, kicking up a spray of dew.
"Good morning, Hari," called the girl to the librarian.
"Good morning, Allina," Hari called back. He was a tall, smiling man with grey hair that had once been jet-black.
Hari opened the door, and Allina scurried past him up into her nook. She had a big book on sailing ships with her, so she took it out to read, waiting for a certain someone to walk in.
