Chapter 3 part one

(One year later)

Percy POV

Finally, the time has come to start my plans, I have spent one year training the monsters of Tartarus to fight more efficiently and effectively. I encouraged them to expirament with their own abilities to increase their strength. I also recalled all monsters back to Tartarus and only let a few that I trust out to spy and collect information that may help us. Taurus is the one that leaves the most often since he is the leader of my army. I was sitting in my throne room with my duel swords leaning against the side of my throne. While I was down here I figured out that the black, glass like shards were able to be melted down and forged into weapons, and when tested against the weapons that demigods held it was significantly stronger. While I was sitting there Taurus had come in and saluted. "Percy, everything is ready for the continuation of the plan." I raised my hand and Taurus stopped saluting.

"You don't have to salute to me Taurus, we are close friends, and I do not see you as a servant." He loosened up and looked up at me, with a smile on his face.

"Well, we're ready, is there anything we need to do before we continue with the plan." I thought about it and stood up. Walking over to the opening of the balcony I snapped my fingers making all monsters appear in the courtyard except for Taurus. I walked out and gazed upon my army of thousands of monsters. I quickly thought through what I would say next.

"My loyal subjects and friends." The chattering quieted below so I continued. "Thank you for remaining loyal to me over the year, the war we have been preparing for is upon us, I am leaving Tartarus for one week with Taurus to obtain new forces to our cause. During this time you will be given the freedom to do whatever you want down here, but you are not allowed to go up to earth. One more announcement, before I leave I have a request, from now on I will be referred to as Tenebris. Enjoy your week."
