In the world of Earthland lived two young females-Katherine Franazie and Aqua Lockser; they were friends who were adopted then left for dead in an abandoned house. Katherine didn't like that she was left by the male who took them in and began to make havoc where she could. Making anyone who tried to get past where the two females lived pay for going past them with her ice magic.

While Aqua was the more calmer of the two of them-trying to reason with her friend only for her friend to always ignore the words that were said to her. It wasn't until Katherine got out of hand that she had no other choice but to ask help from the guilds that were around. The only guild that would help her out was the Sabertooth guild.

When the young blue haired female went into the guild and went to request help two males had overheard her. She jumped as she felt a hand on her shoulder, Aqua looked behind her to see that it was just the two males. A raven haired male and a spikey haired blond male.

"Hey miss, you need help with somethin'?" The blond male asked curiously

Aqua nodded her head. "Yes, a friend of mine has gone completely insane with power. I've tried to talk her out of what she does but nothing I do seems to work."

"What's your friend's name?" The blond male asked

"Katherine. She's a second generation dragon slayer."

Both males eyes went wide. "Seriously?!" They said in unison

She nodded her head. "As am I, we were forced to be by the horrible male that abandoned us a while back. It's almost been an entire year since the time that we had been placed where we are now."

"Wait, hold up here. You're tellin' me that you and your friend are second generation dragon slayers yet you two aren't in any guild?" The blond male asked

She shook her head. "Nope, I wanted us to leave where we are to join one but she doesn't seem to want to leave. Can you help me or should I go to some other guild?"

The blond male placed his hands over her shoulders. "It's not a problem. Maybe we can convince her to join this guild." He said with a grin

Aqua's blue eyes lit up hearing the male speak. "Thank you! Let me show you where Katherine and I live. Please follow me."

The lot of them left out and it was a day and a half walk from the guild to where her friend was. When they got to the abandon shed Aqua pushed the two males out of the way as Aqua was pelted by ice shards as it ripped her clothes and made her be placed into the door.

"Just where the hell have you been this entire time!? Who are those two males beside you?!"

"Katherine, please calm down. You're not going to get anywhere with violence!" Aqua said sadly as she looked to where her friend was.

Katherine got from the support beam and landed on her feet-the two males saw that the male who attacked aqua was a brunette female with red eyes, her red eyes went from her friend to the two males. "Just who are the two of you?"

"I'm Sting Eucliffe and beside me is my friend Rogue Cheney. We're third generation dragon slayers."The blond male stated

The brunette female rolled her eyes and balled her hands up on either side of her. "Like I give a damn that the two of you are dragon slayers. If I could extract the power from within me I would. I'm sick of people thinking that being what I am is a good thing."

"We can do people good with what we have, we don't have to follow the path that we were placed down. We can go against it." Aqua said sadly

Rogue and Sting helped out Aqua before the two males were attacked. "Anyone who helps Aqua out is an enemy of mine. I refuse to go down without a fight!" Katherine stated annoyed before she attacked both males with her ice wing attack.

The dodged and were quick to go behind her before they attacked her together. Aqua couldn't watch the two males attacking her friend and slid down the door and covered her eyes. She could only hear what was going on which was just as worse as seeing it. It didn't take long for her to not hear a single thing; so she uncovered her eyes only to see her best friend on the floor beaten half to death.

The two males were battered a bit themselves, but they were still standing. Sting went up to Katherine and placed his hand out to her. "You're a really powerful woman, how about you join the sabertooth guild? We could use a heavy hitter girl like you in our guild." He said with a grin

Katherine didn't know if it was because of the holes in the shed or if it was because her eyes were playing tricks on her-but looking up to the blond male made her see him as an angelic being of some sort. Her face went bright red as she looked up to him.

"I...I've never been in a guild before. I don't know how to work with anyone." She said sadly

He gave her a toothy grin. "You'll learn in time. So how about it?"

She softly placed a hand on his and he pulled her up. "Okay, I'm fine with it as long as I'm the only one that gets accepted. I refuse to be anywhere with her nearby." Katherine stated as she pointed to Aqua.

Aqua looked down and frowned, feeling fairly upset that Katherine didn't want anything to do with her. Sting and Rogue both could tell that the two girls had a bit of an issue with one another so Sting spoke up to Katherine. "Sure, if that'll be what it takes."

Katherine did what it took to get what little she had, afterwards she kicked Aqua out of the way before she left with the two males. Rogue stayed behind to talk to Aqua though, to make sure she'd be okay.

"Will you be fine?"

She spoke nothing as she just curled up, he took that as a signal for him to leave her be so he did. Even though he felt bad that she was going to be all alone.
