It was quiet between Gray and Aqua for a moment before she sighed out. "I have to say I didn't expect you to talk to me-especially after how cold I was to you when we first met one another." Aqua said as she looked up to the raven haired male.

"Juvia explained how you were always anti-social and you weren't really all that keen on being nice to guys since every guy since the two of you were in your mid teens always rejected you." Gray explained

She scoffed. "That's not entirely true. She just says what she wants to say-and not tell the truth."

Gray rose an eyebrow at Aqua. "Okay, then tell me the truth. Why were you so cold to me three days ago?"

"I thought you were another victim to my sisters false charm. I didn't want to deal with anyone who was close to her. She's done absolutely nothing to find me and now knowing where she's been this entire time I don't want anything to do with her or those she's known." Aqua said seriously

"I'm just a guild mate to her, sure at times I have to work with her but that's pretty much it." Gray said with a shrug

"I see...maybe I should have asked you about your stance with her before being in the defense about it all. That's my bad, think you can forgive my ignorance Gray?" Aqua asked sadly

Gray smiled a little at her and patted the top of her head. "Yeah not a problem. You didn't know and no doubt you were still recovering from being all alone for a while right?"

She nodded her head as she smiled a bit at him. "Yeah it was that day that Lyon had gotten me with Yuka and Toby. I hadn't really adjusted into Lamia scale-I still haven't."

"So what's making you question where you belong?" Gray asked curiously

"This may not come as a surprise...but...Lyon..." She said sadly as she looked down sadly as she looked at the town from where they were.

"Oh jeez, what did that moron do this time?" Gray asked rolling his eyes

"He's given me so many mixed signals I don't know what to think about him anymore. I know he has an infatuation with my sister-I followed him when he went to confront you about Juvia's feelings about you and all that b.s. I didn't think he'd do something like that when clearly I was upset with him. But he never did anything when it came to my emotions, it seemed like he only really cared for Juvia's." She said sadly

"Aqua...you've really been placed under haven't you?" Gray asked

"Mhm, Always. I've always been underhanded while Juvia gets the better end of things." Aqua said with a nod of her head.

Gray moved closer to her and placed his hand over hers. "That shouldn't happen with you, you're a strong intelligent woman from what I've seen. You should be recognized for that."

Aqua looked down at their hands and her blue eyes widen as she felt her face become flushed. "Gray...why is your hand over mine? Are you attempting to flirt with me right now?" Aqua asked bluntly

"Depends...is it working?" Gray asked as he moved himself closer to her as he grabbed a hold of her hip with his free hand pulling her closely to him so her body was against his.

Her face was bright red as she looked up to him nervously-unsure on what was going on. She hadn't ever been flirted with or even gotten so close to a male before. It was just too much for her to handle in one night-not far from where they were was Lyon who's eyes were wide in shock as he saw what Gray was doing to Aqua. He knew he had to keep Aqua from getting herself harmed by Gray, so he walked up to them and he spoke up.

"Aqua, we better get back to the Inn before it gets late." Lyon stated seriously

"Why should I? You're only going to fawn over that picture of my sister that you have with you?" Aqua hissed out as she looked directly at Lyon's eyes.
