Gray glared at Lyon. "Don't you think you've done enough damage to Aqua with confusing her with what you feel for Juvia. Just leave Aqua alone."

Lyon crossed his arms as he shook his head. "I'm not going anywhere without Aqua."

Aqua looked between the two males before she moved away from Gray and she bolted off away from both of them-frightened for her life. She didn't know what was going on with her life but she was done with people fighting about her. Aqua soon made her way out of the city before she went off to the edge of the island that it was on.

Aqua looked down and she knew if she fell from the height she was at-she'd actually find peace. She closed her blue eyes and went to lift her right leg to fall deep only to have someone hold her back with their arms around her. They pulled her away from the edge and back into Crocus, once they were within the gates she was turned around and placed against part of the gate to Crocus only to see that it was Lyon who had kept her from killing herself.

"Why were you trying to kill yourself Aqua?! Why now?!"

"Why must you always give me mixed signals!? Ever since I've been part of Lamia scale you've been ignoring me unless I'm in a battle! I'm sick and tired of feeling the same thing repeatedly from someone different! You're just the same as the people that I've been trying so damn hard to forget!" Aqua growled angered

Lyon looked to her sadly as he realized that it was because of him that she had done what she had. His grasp on her arms lighten slightly before he pressed his forehead against hers. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean for things to get that bad. I've been conflicted since I met up with you. I know that Juvia will always be out of my grasps, but you're not."

Aqua rose an eyebrow at him. "Are you sure about that?"

He blinked his eyes a few times. "You're seriously not thinking about being with Gray are you?"

She swatted his hands from her shoulders before she shrugged. "He's treated me with more respect and kinder than you ever had."

Lyon looked to her sadly. "You realize that your sister has always had her eyes on Gray, there's no way she'll allow you to get anywhere near him."

"We'll see about that." Aqua said before she pushed past him and walked off

Aqua walked through the streets only to see that Gray was walking around. He stopped when he saw Aqua. "Where did you run off to?" He asked concerned

She shrugged. "I had to get away from Lyon, he doesn't seem to understand simple things." She said as she got closer to him.

"Well I'm glad you're okay." Gray said as he placed his hand on the top of her head. She blushed as she looked up at him.

"Gray you really are different from the guys that are usually around my sister. Thank you for showing me that there are reasonable males out there." She said happily

"Not a problem, Lyon let's a lot of things get in the way of the logical truth." Gray said with a sigh

"No joke, So you really have no interest in my sister?" Aqua asked curiously

"Not really no, she's too clingy for my liking." Gray said as he placed his hands in his pockets.

"I see, so is that why you began to flirt with me tonight?"

Gray shrugged a bit. "I figured if I was with you; your sister would stop pestering me about everything. I'm sick of her smothering me."

Aqua could see from behind Gray that Juvia was a few feet behind him and sighed out. "I see. Well, that's your problem-not mine. I'd rather deal with Lyon's confusion than deal with the fact that you can't tell my sister what you truly feel. Good luck with that, I'm going back to the inn that Lamia scale is in. See you tomorrow Gray."

Aqua then walked past him and went up to my sister and hugged her tightly. "It'll be okay sis, just give him time and space alright?" Aqua said sincerely
