Romance?

The First Day

I pulled into the parking lot of Thylus with butterfly's in my stomach. I knew one person here, and that was my cousin Austin. I am glad that I have her here because I would be so lost without her. I walked into the school and I thought wow. It was just beautiful. No words can describe it. Breathtaking? No, not enough. I heard girls giggling as I realized I wasn't staring at the school, I was staring at a boy. The most handsomest boy I've ever seen. I'm so glad he didn't notice! I heard footsteps behind me and turned around. It was Austin.

"Hey I thought I was gonna meet out in the parking lot?"

"Sorry I forgot. do you think you can show me all my classes? Since we are an hour early till school starts?"

"Sure that's fine. I just want you to meet someone."

"Um, ok. who is it?"

"My best friend Marissa. She is really cool."

"Alright sounds cool!"

Marissa is actually really fun! Instead if Austin directing me to my classes, we just stayed where we were and talked.

"Eden come here!"

The cute boy I was staring at earlier started walking over to us. I panicked. So I sorta hid behind of Austin. she is taller than me so it kinda helped. Until she moved over to let me be seen.

"Eden this is Amanda, my cousin I told you about. Amanda, this is my best guy-friend, Eden."

"Nice to meet you Amanda."

"You too Eden." I said. I felt as if my face was in fire. I looked up and my eyes couldn't leave his. They were a beautiful brown. They seemed to sparkle.

"Well see you later, ladies." Eden said as he walked away.

"Who the hell is that guy?" I said.

"Eden Knight. Quarterback for the football team"

I was just a bit confused. and Austin knew why.

"Football, American football."

"Oh." The bell rang and I went to class. saying goodbye to Austin and Marissa.
