Mei X Reader - Snow Angel

Description:
It's the weekend, and it's been snowing like there's no tomorrow. You look outside to see one of your fellow Overwatch colleagues, Mei-Ling Zhou, frolicking and having fun in the snow. You decide to go out and join her, and confess your love to her.

Snowflakes gently tap against the windows of your room in the afternoon. You're sitting at your desk, invested in the book you're reading. Everything seemed quiet and content, and you liked it that way. As you turn a page, you hear light giggling coming from outside. You look up to see a woman in a white and blue parka with her hand over her eyes. She's looking for something out there, and you instantly become curious. You put a bookmark in your book, get up and near the door. You take a (F/C) winter coat, mittens and scarf and leave your room.

You walk down the hallway of the Overwatch compound and see other heroes talking to each other and going about their businesses. You exit the building to be greeted by a never ending blanket of snow covering the ground. Your shoes crunch through the snow as you turn the corner. The woman had her back to you, and was still searching for something in the snow. "Snowball? Where are you already?" She called out, but got no response back.

You cough, and she suddenly spins around to face you. You finally recognised who it was. Mei-Ling Zhou. God, she is adorable. Her face was the definition of cuteness, and her personality reflected it perfectly. She had on her thick parka of course, but also her glasses, gloves, and massive snow trekking boots. You always wondered why she always had her parka on, anytime, any season.

"Hiya (F/N)! Fancy seeing you out here." She seemed surprised to see you out in the freezing cold. "Well, I saw you from outside my window and I wanted to see what you were up to." Mei giggled and turned her head sheepishly. "Oh, don't mind me. Me and Snowball are playing hide and seek, but I can't seem to find him." "I could help you look for him." Mei's face lit up suddenly. She ran up and embraced you in a hug. "Xiexie (Y/N)! I could really use the help."

The pair of you split up and scanned the whole area for Snowball. Digging around in the snow, looking up in trees and lifting up rocks came to no avail. However, after a while you heard a slight humming sound from behind a tree. When you checked, you found a blue fluorescent glow emanating from the packed snow at the base of the tree. "Hey Mei, I think I've found something." She comes rushing to your side and looks down and sighs. She kneels down, brushes away the snow, and a small grey and blue robot sat in its place. "There you are!"

"Well I guess I should be heading back inside. It's absolutely freezing out here." You say as you turn to walk off. Mei grabs onto your arm and pulls you back. "Wait, stay. We could have so much fun in the snow together!" She stared up at you with puppy dog eyes. It was the most precious thing you had ever seen. "Aww, how could I say no to that face." Mei jumps up, and Snowball chirps in a cute tone. "Alright, snowball fight!"

You begin to run off and construct a snow fort. Mei notices this, and begins to build one of her own. After a few minutes, you're being bombarded with an endless barrage of snowballs. You can only conjure a few per minute, but she seems to have an endless supply. The walls of your fort begin to collapse, yet Mei seems to be almost completely. With little options left, you decide to gather as many snowballs as possible and bombard her Rambo style.

You leap over the ruins of your fort and begin to chuck snowball after snowball. However, Snowball was locked and loaded, and began shooting you down with snow like a mini gun. The closer you got to Mei's fortress, the more you got pounded. You fell back covered in snow, and Mei ran over to you. "Oh sorry (Y/N). Snowball got a bit carried away." You laugh it off and get back up. "So, what now?" Mei puts a hand to her chin, thinking. "I know! Let's make snow angels!" She instantly fell backwards into the snow, and you lied back to join her.

You both swayed your arms and legs around, and left your prints embedded in the snow. It packed up the more you moved your limbs, as you both wanted to make the biggest one. Snowball nuzzled himself into the snow, and spun himself around like a top. You both laughed and looked up and the white littered sky in joy. As you continued, you decided to pipe up and tell Mei what you've wanted ever since you joined Overwatch.

"Hey, Mei" "Yes?" She got up and looked down at you, as you were still stationary in the middle of your snow angel. "Can I tell you something?" "Sure, anything (Y/N)!" Her face lit up as she looked right into your (E/C) eyes. "I think you're an incredibly dedicated, smart, and beautiful woman. I-I really like you Mei. You are the most adorable thing I have ever laid eyes on." Mei blushed intensely and pulled you into another hug. "Oh, I like you too (Y/N)! You're so kind and smart and caring, especially to me. Snowball has been trying to tell you for weeks now. That's why he's been bothering you so much." She giggles again and you smile as you feel so warm and happy at this point.

You both look down at the snow angels you made, and the one dug circle which Snowball made. "Our snow angels look so amazing! You grabs Mei's hands and pull her closer to you. You look deep into her eyes and say "You're my snow angel Mei." You pull her into a passionate kiss, and your lips press against hers. You keep this up for a minute as Snowball watches on making more whirring sounds. You pull away and whisper "I love you so much Mei." "I love you too (Y/N)." You take her by the hand and start to walk back. "Why don't we go back to my room and make some hot chocolate?" Mei says as Snowball rests on her back. "That would be lovely." You say as you walk back together, hand in hand.

Henlo again! Glad to finally make another one of these. Requests are always open (I'm slowly running out of ideas already) and feedback is appreciated as always. Not sure who to do next. (I'm aware that this one was really cheesy, but heck) You're mum clapped.
