welcome to my poetry book, a tear for my youth !
this book originally started out as a document called "the truths you can't ignore" for a group project i worked on for my english final. we wrote a combined poetry book titled "dear society: a tear for my youth". and yes, the my youth part of the title was inspired by troye sivan's song "youth".
i've decided to take my poetry from the book (and the ones we didn't use) and turn it into a book here on wattpad. i like to write about problems teens may deal with in society today. it helps me cope, and my one hope is that my poetry may help others too.
i'm still rather new to writing poetry, but i began writing after feeling inspired by amanda lovelace and rupi kaur. feel free to leave constructive criticism in the comments for me!
