“Aria! Wake up. Its alreaedy 9 am. Aalis na mga kuya mo.” Gising sa akin ni mama.

It was Monday today, meaning it was the first day of the week…

  AGAIN

I can’t  believe Im going back to class.

“Eomma, 5 more minutes. Please eomma!” I whined

(Eomma- mommy)

“Ani. Aria get up. Your oppas are downstairs waiting for you”

(Ani/Aniyo- No)

Upon hearing this, agad agad akong bumangon. Minsan lang yang mga kuya ko umuwi.

“Annyeonghaseyo abeoji, Eomma, Oppas and Ahjumma.Thank you for waiting for me” I greeted them with a slight bow

(Hello Daddy, Mommy, Kuya, and Manang)

“Cheonmaneyo dongsaengiee. Just sit anywhere you like” My brother Jaesook told me.

(No problem little sis)

I took a sit beside Junsu oppa.

In our family, I was the youngest.

Both my brothers are successful in their chosen careers already.

Our eldest was Hwang Jaesook or also known as Jason Hwang. He graduated Marketing and business administration in US. He’s around 28 years old. My second brother was Hwang Junsu also known as Michael Hwang. He graduated in one of the most prestigious schools in the Philippines with a degree in Biology. He pursued Medicine in St. Dominic Academy. Sa ngayon, he is already in his 3rd year sa Med School. Kahit sabihin natin na iisang university lang naman yung pinapasukan namin, hindi pa din kami nagkikita kasi my brother Michael is staying in his condo unit. Minsan lang ako magpunta dun. Mangyayari lang yun kung saka sakaling sobrang lakas ng ulan sa SDA at di na talaga kaya.

I’m the youngest in the family. I’m 17 years old. My parents like Ynna said before, was separated. As bullshit as it sounds, they maintained to be good friends. They live together but both of them were ‘just friends’ now. They filed for annulment back when I was in my sophomore year. It was then granted during the start of my senior year. Ever since they separated, I became cold towards guys. Hindi na ako masyadong kumakausap ng lalaki at madalas naaalibadbaran ako sa kanila. Xander was the only exception. Hindi ko kayang layuan si Xands kasi sya yung pinaka malapit sa akin. Pwede sya maging kaibigan, pwede ding kuya or simply a companion.

Im so happy to have him and Ynna as my bestfriends. Never nila ako iniwan sa ere. Mahal na mahal nila ako regardless of what I do. Kahit pa gaano ako kalokaloka o kagago, nandyan sila para damayan ako.

After we ate our breakfast, Jaesook Oppa dropped both me and Junsu oppa to school.

“Miyoung-shi, just text oppa if your class is done. I’ll pick you up”  paalala sa akin ni Kuya James
