Chapter Nine

~Eren's POV~

After checking out, Levi drove us home.

"Yeah know, your friends came by to see you."

"My friends?"

"Yeah, Historia and Jean."

My breath hitched and I didn't reply. I stared at the dark road and Levi must have noticed.

"Eren. Are they your friends?"

I continued to stare at the road ahead watching as the car lights shined across trees and other parked cars. Levi didn't say anything after that and I'm glad he didn't. Once in the drive way, Levi helped me out the car and into the house. Walking upstairs was a pain, but once I got to my room, I took off my clothes and looked in the mirror. "I need to shower."

After grabbing a towel, I walked in my boxers towards the bathroom across from Levi's bedroom.
