That stupid lady that hates kids is ruining Hogwarts. She keeps making all these rules and it makes it even harder to be in a relationship. There are only so many places all the couples at the school can sneak off to, to be alone.
It's past time to be in our beds, but I've hardly seen Draco in the past two weeks. Once everyone in my room is asleep I sneak out and sneak around the castle, to the astronomy tower. It has been the place Draco and I have always met at. We had our first kiss here, as cheesy as that is.
I look out over the water waiting for Draco to arrive. I wish I had more time to stay up here throughout my day, but classes are so hectic now. Plus the rules.
I feel a tap on my shoulder and I turn. It's Draco, finally. I hug him tightly for the first time all week, and he kisses me.
"Gosh I've missed you Y/N." He says smiling. We both sit down in the middle of the room, on top of the blanket he brought.
"You know, we would be able to see each other more and actually hold hands in public if it weren't for that stupid bitch Umbridge. Who does she think she is?" I rant.
"I mean, she isn't that bad Y/N. she is trying to stop Potter and his friends from going against the Ministry." He says. I look at him appalled. Is he serious right now?
"Are you kidding me Draco?"
"No. I even kind of signed up to help her stop them." He says scratching the back of his neck.
"Draco, she's the devil! She tortured me in detention with her 'special quill'. Plus you know how I'm practically failing my classes because of her O.W.L.s. Not to mention we can't ever see each other. But you decided to help her?" He looks at me almost guilty like.
"I'm sorry. I didn't know about the quill. I'm sorry. Can you show me?" He asks.
I turn over my hand and show him the engraved words 'we mustn't interrupt in class'. He rubs his thumbs over the wounded area, and then kisses my hand.
"I'm sorry. I really am. I'll try to find a way out if it." He says.
"Maybe Potter will find a way to get rid of her." I state. He grimaces at the mention of Harry.
We stay there talking and enjoying each other's company for an hour or so and decide we need to get back to bed. We quietly walk out of the astronomy tower and try to get to bed, but Filch spots us.
He grabs us both and wakes Umbridge up. He takes us to her office and forces us in the room.
"Well, well, well. Miss Y/LN and Mr. Malfoy. What do we have here?" She asks. I dig my nails into my hand from being nervous. Draco notices, but resists the urge to comfort me, in case it makes matters worse.
"I found them out of bed and wondering the castle Mamm." Filch says.
"Hmm. Well I think I know just what to do." She picks up a phone and calls someone. Who could she be calling at this hour?
"Yes, yes. He has been caught out of bed and with a girl. Yes. He must be punished. Alright, thank you." She hangs up and faces us.
"Off to bed you two." She just lets us leave.
"Do you think she called Dumbledore?" I ask Draco.
"Hopefully. He would go easy on us."

"Y/N, we need to talk." Draco says. We go to the tower skipping lunch.
"What is it?" I ask.
"Um. I don't know how to say this, but um. We, we can't see each other anymore." He looks downs and fumbles with his fingers. His eyes look watery. Is he serious?
"W-what do you mean?" My voice cracks.
"Umbridge called my father last night not Dumbledore. He says I can't see you anymore and if he hears word that I am he will find a way to have you expelled. I'm so sorry Y/N, I don't want this."
"Oh, I see." He comes to me and hugs me. I can tell he's crying. I've always been his rock and he's always been mine. We started dating our first year. We've told each other everything. Things we haven't told anyone else. And now I'm not allowed to be with him . My chest starts aching as I hug him back, knowing it will have to last me a long time.
"Y/N, somehow I will find a way for us to be together again, okay?" I nod my head, not trusting my voice to speak.
"Please don't stop loving me." He says worriedly and with tears running down his face.
"Draco, I could never." We kiss and then he holds me in his arms for about ten minutes. We decide to leave but him going first so no one sees us.
I stay and cry. People are going to spread rumors of why we broke up. I know that Pansy and half of the other Slytherin girls will try to get with Draco. I hope he doesn't move on, as selfish as that is. It would break my heart too much. I'm holding on to his words of him finding a way for us to be together again.
