Bill held Pennywise's hand as the man stepped over a log, his form trembling with fear. "I-It's okay," Bill said softly, and Pennywise nodded slowly, stepping completely over the log. Once he was on solid ground, he gasped and clapped, happy that he didn't fall. "I did it!" He cried happily, looking at Bill, who smiled warmly, nodding. "Y-Yeah! Y-You d-did it!" He said, leading him to where his friends were gathered. Beverly scowled ever so slightly at the grown man needing Bill's help, but Richie? Richie booked it, slamming face first into a tree, screaming his tiny head off. The action scared Pennywise so much that he stumbled and fell right on his butt. Fat tears filled his eyes and he scuttled back, shaking, curling around himself to protect his body. "I-I'm sorry!" He cried, trembling. Beverly, sensing fear, knelt down in front of Pennywise, while the boys went to check on Richie, who's nose was now bleeding.
"Hey, hey, it's okay," she said, and Pennywise looked up at her, his eyes bright with tears yet unshed. "I-Is he o-okay?" He asked, wiping his eyes, smearing the paint. "My fucking nose is broken, you freak!" Richie yelled at him, and he flinched as Richie stormed over to him. He screamed, curling into a tight ball, crying like a child, begging not to be hit. ".... Be good! I'm sorry! Please don't hurt me!" He sobbed, and Richie, dumbstruck, took a slow step back, looking at the others. "What the fuck, you guys?"

Once Pennywise had calmed down, the Club gathered around him and began to introduce themselves. He really liked Beverly, he thought she was really pretty and wanted to braid her hair. So, she let him fix it into a very messy braid while the boys introduced themselves. Ben was happy to share his music with their new club member, but Pennywise had been scared of the headphones at first. While Ben introduced him to New Kids on the Block, Bill, Eddie and Stan discussed a plan.
They had all heard about the kids going missing, the posters that screamed MISSING in big, bold letters of red, black, grey, how some of them were fresh off the press sometimes.

"Hey, freaks!" Henry Bowers sneered, pulling up to their field in his car. "Run!" Bill shouted, and everyone except Pennywise and Beverly booked it. "Pennywise, we have to go!" She cried, looking at her new friend. "They'll kill you!" She said, and Pennywise looked at the approaching form of Bowers and his cronies. "But -- they don't look mean -" he had spoken too soon. Henry had launched a stone right at him, but because he was still braiding Beverly's hair, it struck her square in the face, breaking her nose and possibly the left side of her jaw. Slowly, Pennywise moved Beverly off of his lap. "Y-You don't hurt my f-fwends!" He said, a mean sort of anger in his eyes. Henry laughed at him, and moved to be before the clown. "Or what, freak? Huh? You gonna cry like the little retard that you are?" He sneered.
Pennywise got up and grabbed Henry by the shirt, and pushed him back. "Bevvy, go!" He said, looking at her. Beverly, blood flowing from her nose, stood up, but instead of fleeing, she stood beside her new friend. "Not a chance, Pennywise," she said, smirking.
Henry, glaring at them, got up and pulled a pocket knife out of his pocket. "Whoa, hey, Henry, what the fuck, man?!"
One of his crones said. "I'm gonna kill this fucking retard!" Henry shouted, lunging. Sensing danger that he couldn't escape, Pennywise pushed Beverly away and grabbed Henry's shirt, the knife fixing itself into his arm. He cried out in fear, but he managed to get the blade, and without a chance to right himself after a sudden elbow to the temple, Henry found himself with his own blade embedded in his stomach.

"Beverly, what happened?!" Ben cried, rushing over as Beverly and Pennywise came limping around the bend. "It doesn't matter, we have to get out of here! Bowers got stabbed!" Beverly said, grabbing her bike and beginning to get ready to ride back into town. "Pennywise? Do you have somewhere to hide?" Beverly asked, and he pointed at the nearest manhole. "The sewers?" She asked, and he nodded. "I've never known another home," he said, biting his lip. The gang shared looks, and sighed, abandoning their bikes. "Well, c-come on then," Bill said, and they started the trek into the sewers, even Eddie, who was bitching the whole time. "SHUT UP, EDDIE!" Everyone but Pennywise yelled, scaring the man but he kept his composure as he led them to his home beneath the city.
