The Speedy Flight of Hearts At A Poisonous Midnight (On Hold)

Chapter 6

When they got to the front door they hear barking and Lucy and Angel secretly smile at each other.
They open the door and the Husky is sitting right there with it's tail wagging and tongue sticking out, it looked so cute!
"Aww" Lucy heard from behind her and looked at Wendy who had hearts in her eyes.
"Why is there a dog?" Richard asked.
"Well I thought it would make you more comfortable if you all had a friend... it is also to teach you more responsibility as all the animals are young. The oldest is the Husky who is one year old" Lucy informed.
"We have NO idea how to look after animals... we can't even look after ourselves properly!" Erik exclaimed.
uh... Erik, Cubellios was a snake and you looked after her very well" Lucy said pointedly while looking straight at him.
"She was NOT a pet! She was a friend!" Erik bursts out.
"Ok, ok not a pet.. Sorry.. but neither was she human." Lucy states.
Erik sighs turning away and looking down.
"Uh... your new companions should be on your beds." Lucy says as they all walk in.
"I'll start on dinner, you go meet your companions." Lucy says walking into the kitchen.

With the boys.

"This small creature has no chance in keeping up with me" Sawyer says looking at the cheetah cub.
Midnight looked at the bat that had taken over the darkest corner of the room
"Why a bat?"
"Pfft hahaha!" Cobra started laughing.
a tic mark appears on Midnights head.
"Shut it Erik!" Midnight snaps.
"Nah I'm good Macbeth!" Cobra keeps laughing.
Suddenly there was a spike in the magic in the room and cobra stops laughing.
"I was joking Midnight, calm down..."
Just as Midnight was about to say something there was a soft knock on the door.
"Is everything alright? Whose magic spiked?" Lucy's voice was heard through the door with a hint of worry in it.
"It's fine Miss Lucy, Cobra just angered Midnight by laughing at him" Hoteye says calmly.
"Oh... Ok! I hope you all like your companions! Sorano helped me pick ones that are best suited to your magic, though we had to get a kitten for Richard because we couldn't find anything to go with his magic"
"Why did you get me a bat?" Midnight asks.
"Well sinceyou use that type of magic and your name, bats like darkness and we couldn't really find any suitable animals for you..." Lucy explains rubbing the back of her neck sheepishly.
"You could have gotten a wolf or lion... something dangerous..." Midnight says.
"Both those animals would have not worked well with your personality..." Lucy explained.
"What would you know of my personality?" he asks
"Sorano helped me... she told me enough to pick out your companions but not enoughto envade your privacy." She explains again.
"Over time I hope you all open up and tell me about yourselves!" she says smiling at them.
"Whatever Blondie.." Cobra said disinterested.
"Whatever Blondie." Lucy mocked.
"Blondie, don't..." Cobra said.
"Don't what snake boy? Just remember if you hurt me you go back to jail or if I feel threatened." Lucy says glaring at Cobra.
"But then again... my house, my rules I could just stop feeding you or something like that." Lucy stated grinning evilly.
"Um... Miss Lucy? Are you ok?" Richard asks.
As if coming out of a trance Lucy shakes her head and smiles sweetly but therewas a hint of worry and maybe fear in her eye's.
"Uh... yeah... I'm fine! I have to go talk to my guild masterabout something so I'll  be out for a while, there's food in the cupboard and fridgeif you get hungry. Bye!"Lucy left in a rush.
"Should we follow hwe?" Racer asked.
"Hell NO!" Cobra yelled.
"I agree with cobra, that magic was dark and seemed to be taking control of her. We really don't want to anger her again." Midnight said.

(I'm gonna make this a short chapter because I have no idea where I was trying to take this, and it's been so long since I've posted anything and as an 'I'm sorry' I'll do whatever you guys want within reason of course!)
