After waking up in Normani's hotel room a few times, Lauren assumed that she was in the routine of waking up only minutes after her. So she didn't bother looking at her phone until after she went to the bathroom.

When she finally did see the time, she had to double take. Knowing Normani got up no later than nine and seeing it was closing in on two in the afternoon was beyond shocking. She sighed to herself for sleeping in even though she knew she probably needed the sleep.

She went back to the bathroom to brush her teeth before going to find Normani. Whom was sitting on the couch, leaning on the armrest while she half watched TV and was half on her phone. Lauren smiled instantly, faintly scaring herself at how much she liked the thought that she could wake up and expect to see Normani waiting for her.

She pushed the thoughts to the back of her head though, instead walking around the couch and laying down on it; forcefully putting her arms around the other girls waist as she laid her head on her lap. Normani giggled as she locked her phone and set it down, leaning her head against one hand while the other she used to lightly rub up and down Lauren's back.

"Well good morning sleepy head. I was wondering when you would show up."

Normani smiled at the pout that worked it's way on her face as Lauren strained her neck to look up at her.

"Why wouldn't you wake me up?"

"I know you only get up early when you're here because I'm up. I figured you getting some sleep would be good. Plus I don't know about you, but we've gone out almost every single day. I think a partially lazy day is in store."

"Then why the hell didn't you sleep in with me?"

"I.e. the word partially."

Lauren rolled her eyes laying back down on Normani's lap after the pain from straining her neck started to irritate her.

"You can't be partially lazy. You either go all the way lazy or not at all"

"Well you're going to learn how to right now because I haven't eaten an actual meal yet and I know you must be hungry."

"We can order room service."

"Or we can cook the food in the fridge."

Lauren sighed and then sighed again, but harder, as Normani pushed her so she could sit up.

"Mani no."

"Yes. Come on my little sloth."

Lauren scoffed as she stood and made her way towards the kitchen. Normani was already in the fridge pulling out the things for their meal.

"Sloth? I'm obviously a koala bear."

"But you,"

Normani started, grabbing the vegetables and putting them into Lauren's chest.

"Are lazy like a sloth. So let's go. Get to chopping."

Lauren stuck her lip out but listened nonetheless; sitting at the dining table as Normani handed her a cutting board and knife.

"I'm going to be hungry again in like an hour."

"How could you possibly know that?"

"Because you keep making me eat pescatarian. A girl needs her red meat. These vegetables as a side dish to a ribeye..."

She looked up at the ceiling and sighed dreamily making Normani laugh at her.

"Okay fine. If you can power through this horrible healthy diet you are second handedly on for the rest of the day, tomorrow we can find you the reddest form of meat you can swallow."
