Taylor's POV:

It's Monday, and the only thing I hear in the hallways is about how Moss and Sarah broke up. He didn't mention anything about it to me, although I must admit that I am curious as to what happened. They seemed just fine on friday, when they were making googly eyes at each other.

I feel a piece of paper bounce off my head. I turn in the direction of the assault, and I see Moss giving me an evil smirk. I glare at him.

"You have your thinking face on." He says. "I had to disturb it." I shake my head at him, not being able to resist a grin.

"You're disturbed." I throw the piece of paper right back at him.

At lunch, I was on my way outside to the parking lot that Moss and I usually eat in, when I ran into Juniper and Sarah.

"Oops, uh, sorry, I-" Sarah presses into me, threatening me.

"Sorry for what, bitch? For breaking me up with Moss?" I look at her, confused, and then she shoves me. For the first time in almost a year, I hear Juniper speak.

"Sarah, let's leave her alone, okay? Attacking her won't make you feel better--" Sarah turns to her, and glares at her.

"Attacking? You think that was attacking? You haven't seen shit yet, June!!" Juniper flinches back, obviously hurt by Sarah's sharp tone toward her.

"Sarah, leave it. Just leave her alone! She never did anything to you." Sarah almost explodes with anger at that comment. I almost explode with gratitude.

"Never did anything to me? She stole my fucking boyfriend! And she did a shit ton to you too, so I don't see why you're sitting here fucking defending her!" I can tell Juniper is starting to get really angry, and she is pretty scary when she's mad if I remember correctly.

"You know what, Sarah? Fuck off." Sarah scoffs, bitterly.

"Look at you, always defending people who fuck you over. Have you seriously not heard some of the rumors about Tyler? Do you not know that he's already cheated on you like five times?" My jaw drops, and Juniper's eyes fill up with tears. I can't help but feel guilt for her. This isn't the way that she found out.

"He wouldn't, Sarah, you're just trying to hurt me! I know he wouldn't do that, Sarah." Sarah grins widely, and evily.

"You don't know jack shit. Just like you don't know what you're getting into with this stupid lying bitch," she says before shoving me into a locker, and leaning close to me. In that moment, I am so pissed off at how she's treating Juniper, that all my common sense flies out the window. I shove her off of me, and she flies back. I put both my arms up, palms open on either side of me, giving her the out. She can walk away if she wants to. The next thing I hear is Juniper shouting, and then I feel Sarah grabbing my wrists, as if she's trying to stabilize me.

Game over.

About ten seconds later, Sarah is bloody and on the ground and I can't remember how she got there. I look up, and Juniper is staring at me, eyes filled with tears.

"T-Taylor.... What happened to you?" She whispers, and then she runs away.

Moss POV:

I had been waiting outside in the parking lot for about fifteen minutes before I hear the double doors open. I turn around, expecting it to be Taylor, but it's Junebug. She looks panicked.
