Where the hell am I?

The thought raced through Mystique's mind as she walked quickly through the halls of the giant building of Mira University. The map she held out in front of her said that the Office, where she is to collect her schedule, should be just ahead. But ahead of where she is, is a frickin' closet. She turns left, then continues on as if she isn't lost. You would have to kill her before she admitted that she couldn't find a place, where it even said on the directions, was 'obviously' next to the Garden Bed, Left Wing. So for the past five minutes she has been turning left, looking for a sign that says in bold letters Left Wing. Getting frustrated, she goes to kick a trash can that is to the right of her, but before she does she notices a girl with dark brown hair and blue eyes smirking at her. Oh hell to the no.

Right now, she is frustrated and that makes her unstable. And you don't want to be near when she's unstable. Mystique knows that she shouldn't do what she is about to, but she can't help herself. She quickens her pace and heads straight in the direction of the smirking girl, staring straight at her. The girl's smirk slowly slips off her face and she gulps. Yeah that's right, girly, you better be scared.

Charlotte turned around and starts walking away from the scary, frustrated looking girl. She couldn't help herself, she saw the girl getting so frustrated and she had to laugh! Her sense of humour may not be the nicest, but she'll enjoy what she can in this hell hole. Charlotte didn't notice that the girl had speed up and she was right behind her. Before she could though, the girl came to a stop, stuck her arm out and turned Charlotte around. Charlotte almost dropped her phone, that she had been texting on, before she had noticed the other girl.

"Oh no. Where'd your smile go?" Mystique said in a nasty tone.

"Next time, why don't you go find someone else to amuse your time, since you think you're so special. Don't get me wrong, you're special, I could see that from a mile away, but you're not above anyone, and you're certainly not above me. So keep walking-" Mystique paused for a second, "-and while you're at it, where's the Main Office?" Charlotte didn't reply quick enough for Mystique.

"Hello? Anyone home in there?" Before Mystique could say more, a lady that looked in her mid 40's, walked down the hall, towards the girls.

"What are you two doing out here?" The professor sighed.

"Oh! Nothing Professor Angie! Umm, uhh, I was just letting this new student know where the Main Office is!" Charlotte looked at the Red head, begging her with her eyes to go along with it.

"Oh, is that right, Charlotte and Ms?" She cut off, expecting a name from the student. Well she wasn't gonna get one. Mystique was in a bad mood. She knew she wasn't being very cooperative but she didn't care. Charlotte nudged her. Oh, alright!

"Mystique Manehorne," Mystique forced a smile, she had made up the last name while she was filing out her fake birth certificate and school applications. As cliché as it sounded, she did know a guy.

"Oh really? I thought it was quite simple to read the map you have right there." She pointed to the map in Mystique's hand. Mystique faked a laugh. She wanted to punch this woman, and she swore if the lady didn't tell her where the office was soon, she was going to do exactly that.

"Silly me, can't seem to wrap my head around it!" The professor smiled and shook her head.

"It's just down the hall this way, and to the right," the professor smiled before she headed the opposite way from which she pointed. It was to the right. Are you kidding me, wait- that makes sense now.

Charlotte sighed. Thank god the Professor didn't question them more. Charlotte looked at the girl, Mystique. What an odd name. But then again, it suited her, "Uh hey, listen, Mystique?" Charlotte started, she didn't usually do this, but she thought Mystique was a pretty, okay person. You know if you cut out the bit about her looking ready to put a knife to Charlotte's throat.

"Um, if you want I could, I don't know, make sure you don't get lost? And then we can find out if we have any classes together!" Mystique looked at her like she was crazy.

"I would rather shove my hair down my throat, and suffocate, then listen to one more annoying word you have to say." Just to add icing on the cake, she added, "but thanks anyway!"

Mystique then pushed past her and headed down the hall and to the right.
