Chapter 8: Stavo Moves In

After trudging through the grasses for 30 miles to get to the house, Stavo had finally arrived. Covered in mud, blood, and crud, he had trouble walking around without being noticed. "Excuse me, sir. Can I help you?" said a 20-something-year-old man in a security guard outfit. Hid blonde hair and shades made him look like a character out of an 80's action movie. "Yeah. I'm looking for Emma Duval's house. Do you know where that's at?" said Stavo. "Let me check my papers." He reached over into his golf cart and found a manifest of all the houses, the addresses, and the tenants. "I didn't catch your name." The man said as he was looking for Emma's name. "That's because I didn't give it to you," said Stavo in a bitchy tone. "Alright, asshole, my name is John. I'm the security guard for the campus housing. Now, it's your turn." John said. "My name is Stavo. I am friend with Emma, Audrey, and Noah. I came to live with them for a while. Where are they?" Stavo said angrily. "Here, I found it. How about I give you a ride? Legally, I can't let a person walk around these houses with the intention of entering a house when they don't live there." stated John. John and Stavo got in the golf cart as John drove down the streets. He finally arrived in front of the house. Stavo and Sam walked up to the door. "I'd suggest getting a shower. You look and smell like shit," said John. Stavo rolled his eyes. John knocked on the door. Emma opened up and instantly hugged Stavo. "Man, I've missed you! But wait, where's Brooke?" said Emma. "Yeah, we didn't work out that well in New York. I decided that I'd try to further my education here instead and live with you guys," said Stavo. "Hey, guys, I'm sure this is a nice moment but I need to make sure you are okay with him being on campus," said John in Emma's direction. "Oh, yeah. He's good." Emma said. "Alright, just making sure. You be careful now. Can't have anyone getting hurt. Especially not the pretty ones." John said as he winked. John walked down the stairs and drove away. Emma smiled as Stavo and her walked into the house. Audrey and Noah both came down and exchanged greetings with Stavo after not having seen Stavo in a while. Emma smiled as she walked into the house. Her phone dinged. As she looked down, she saw she got a text from an unknown number.  

                                             "Isn't it so sweet that Stavo is back in the house? ;)"

Emma dismissed the text and thought it could be Brooke or one of Stavo's friends. Emma, Stavo, and Noah took a seat on the couch as Audrey unveiled something. "Guys, it took me all week, but I finally figured out how to fix the TV and get us actual shows. Now, we won't have cable or satellite because none of us have money for that, but I did figure out how to wire a version of ChromeCast for us so that we can watch Netflix, YouTube, and others." She said before moving to the side. She queued up Friday the Thirteenth before sitting down and relaxing. Emma's phone dinged again. 

                                             "It won't be long before that movie comes to life."

Emma threw her phone on the other couch and sat back, uncomfortably, before watching the movie.
