On the morning of the eruption, Luciana was helping her Mother at work. While her mother was stomping in the Fulary, and Luciana was folding the dry laundry, her younger sister, Juliana, who is only three years of age, was playing with small stones on the ground. Luciana was only nine years old and she would help her mother at work while looking after sister at the same time.
The girls do not go to school since theif father has passed away and their mother doesn't earn enough money. The girls have nothing to all day, so they would either olay with other children on the streets, go exploring of Luciana would help her mother.
Once Luciana finnished folding, she tidied up and pinned her silver broche back on to here pale pink dress. She then asked her mother if her and her sister could go and play. As her mother daid yes, Luciana turned around to tell Juliana. Juliana got up from the dirt and trots over to her sister. Her mother was saying something, but Luciana was too busy brushing the dirt off Juliana.
