As the children play, slash around in the water and build sand castles, I lay on my towel soaking in the sun. I have just gone for a swim in the salty water. The waves had hurt as they crashed into me and pushed me over. As I lay here, I close my eyes and relax. As I dry off, I smell the salt in the air and listen to the soft sound of the waves.

A wave crashes against the shore, soraying me with water. When the water hits my legs, it stings. I didnt realise how hot I was getting. I get up and walk towards the water. As I walk, the sand squeaks beneath my feet. I feel the sand on my legs as I walk, I am covered in sand and I hate it. I hate how it gets everywhere.
