Chapter 3: The break up

Later, after science, I was getting my stuff and Tony came over to me.

"What was that?" He asks.

"If you are referring to who our science partners are, I have no say in that." I answer.

Jack first starts to overhear Tony's and Violets conversation.

"You know what? I don't care. You clearly like that Jack kid. Besides, Who would like you? You are stupid. And you are useless. You hear me? You can't do anything right, Violet Parr!"

[I start to leave but then Jack comes over. So I just stand off to the side.]

Jack interjects. "Says you. Violet is the most amazing girl ever. And you treat her like this. If anything, you are the stupid one. So, back off."

"Guess what, Parr? We are over. Never talk to me again."

I start to cry. And I leave that area. After school, I am still crying. I am walking home from school. I walk on the door. I run up into my room. I can't believe Tony would say that to me.

Dash comes home and zooms through my open door of my room.

"What do you want, Dash?" I ask.

"Are you okay, Vi?" Dash asks.

"Not really. I don' t wanna talk bout it, right now, Dash. Go play with Jack-Jack or something. Please, Dash." I say.

"Fine." Dash says as she leaves.

I spent the rest of the night crying my eyes out. I hate Tony. I grab my phone and delete his number from my phone. And my mom comes in.

"Are you okay?" My mom asks.

"No. Tony broke up with me, very harshly. He said I was stupid, useless. He then said I can't do anything right. After that this kid, Jack stood up for me. But then Tony just ended it." I say still in tears.

"Breaks up are hard. I'm not gonna day they are not. But you are strong. Think of it like this. You are one heartbreak closer to true love." She says.

"Thanks mom." I answer.

After, that I had dinner and went back up in my room. And then it was getting late, so I just went to bed.
