A happy ending .

Chapter 8 - Looking

We looked and looked . We searched high and low , all over campus , no note was left either or so we thought . Entering Lukes dorm , we searched the draws but they were empty . A piece of paper was found in the very last draw .  It was a very short note , and very simple . 

"We have Luke . 

You have a month to come fetch him and in return we want that sexy ass white winged bitch . If you don't bring her we will blow up Luke with the building all of you are in . 

Signed : F.A.S" 

Whats F.A.S ? That can't be my main concern right now . Are they talking about me ? Oh shit I left Lilly in my dorm by herself , she must be scared , me disappearing like that without her knowledge . I folded the letter and shoved it in my pocket while I used the rest of my energy to run back to Lilly . As I got to the entrance of the girls dorm , a nice aroma swam around me . Walking slowly into the dorm kitchen , Lilly was standing above the stove , making waffles . 

I slammed the letter down on the table , I had a frustrating look on my face "Read ." I demanded . 

"Oh sis you're all sweaty !" Dodging my demand "Why don't you eat ...." 

I interrupted as I already knew she would tell me to calm down and eat . "Read the letter Lilly ." my voice beginning to croak . 

"I dont understand . Whose luke ?" zShe said without a thought . 

I hugged her and placed my head on her soft boobies , my tears soaked her shirt "I love him Lilly . Everyone's in danger because of me but why ?!" 

Calming me down , just like what she did when I was a kid . "It's alright I'll explain further just now ." Stroking my hair and giving me gentle kisses . "Eat first , you must be starving ." 

I sat down wiping the tears off my face , stuffing as much syrup on my waffle with chocolate sauce as well . I want to save the people of this school and including Luke , I guess I would die for them . "Lilly , our birthday is tomorrow , anything special you would like to do ?"

"I should be asking you that , you are 16 after all ." She sat down across the table from me . "Why don't we go shopping ? And maybe have a huge party tonight !" Lilly seemed like not a bit was wrong in life , too excited about my birthday . 

"No it's too much work ." I finished off my waffles and decided to take a slow walk around campus . 

The trees felt really hypnotizing , the wind also made me feel calmer . I bumped into a tall and huge looking man . "Hey don't we have class together , what was your name again ?" I asked trying not to appear scared , he looked too scary for a student . 

"The name is Adam ." He said in a really deep voice . "We don't have any classes together , only swimming ." He now sounded like a friend and not an intimidating dad . "I hear your sister is here ?" 

He knows lilly ?! "Yes , do you know her ?" 

"Yes , she graduated last year and I had to repeat a year ." So he wasn't a smart person , but was my sister , I continued to listen . "We had no classes together as she was smart and I wasn't . I always looked up to her though ." His brown hair was spiked up and his brown eyes screamed and yearned for love . 

"Hey I have an idea ." I went closer to him and whispered how it's our birthday tomorrow . "Lets go shopping ." I said jumping about . "Meet at the bus stop in like 10 minutes ."
I ran to my dorm , from the back of the school campus . I quickly jumped in the shower with Lilly , "Sorry Lilly i'm in a rush ." Lilly looked at me with her hazel eyes while her small hands ran through her bright red hair . I was done in 5 minutes , with 5 minutes to run to the bus stop . "If I take the average walk I can get there with one minute to spare ." I spoke to myself as usual "I'm off , see you later ." I shouted from the door to Lilly .  

Adam was waiting at the bus stop already . "oh you're finally here ." he laughed , wait a laugh ? it wasn't scary at all . "Lets go ." We climbed on the bus and went off into town . 

"My friend told me about this great florist , I'm just not sure where it is ." I explained getting off the bus . "Wiz floral . Is the name ."

"Oh I think I know that one , it's down this road , all the way at the end ." Adam was a great help in the location . "I've bought flowers there before ." 

We took a nice walk and spoke , trying to get through to one another . "Oh really , who for ?"

"They were for Lilly . I was going to ask her to the junior spring formal until I saw she already had a lover ." has he been in love with her for that long ? Is this love ? Do I even understand it ? "I left the flowers at her dorm door with no note ." 

"Did you ever tell her ? Even after her lover died ?" I asked trying to see his gentle soul come to life . 

"No , it was too heart breaking , she was miserable . I took her flowers everyday but when she was sleeping . she never knew it was me ." How can he hide it for this long ? Doesn't it kill him ? 

"Now you will get your chance I will make sure of it ." I said passionately . "This must be the shop ." It was an open shop , with lots of sunlight . 

"What I loved most is that she liked Lillys and her name is Lilly ." me being shocked 

"Oh I never knew that ." in surprise I went looking for Lillys . "Over here , these look perfect ." I turned my head and saw Mr.Arnold talking to the cashier . 

"Mr.Arnold ! What brings you hear ?" Adam said not knowing I was trying to keep it low . "Buying flowers for that special someone ?" 

"Oh well , yes ." he said with a sad smile . "Well , see you tonight ." He used his magic and poof he was gone . 

"We should choose a few , pay then leave ." I plucked a couple , about ten . "I have to get back by 2pm , so why don't we stop somewhere for lunch while we are out ?" 

"Yeah , I  know a great place ." Adam suggested "They sell amazing cakes ."

Only two blocks down was a nice cafe , "Looks great !" I said as I got my sub sandwich . "I could eat for 10 !" I said , not caring if people were watching me as I shoved the sub into my mouth . Checking my watch it was 1pm . "We should get going ."

"I'll pay ." Adam offered kindly , I'm not going to turn down a free lunch . 

"Thank you ." We walked back up the road , got in the already waiting bus and back to school we went . "What a day . You ready ? Hold that thought ." I said picking up my phone , "Hello ."

"It's Lilly , I wont be home till tonight . See you then ."

"She wont be home till later ." I said looking at his relieved face ."But I'll let you know when to come , okay ? See ya later ." I went back to my room and had an amazing nap , afterwards I finished my assignment which was due Monday . School really had me exhausted . 

Checking my phone I got a text from Jen "Shower , dress nicely and meet me by the party hall ." Why ? guess I'll have to . I showered and put on my blue high waisted jeans with a tight crop top sitting under my boobs . Wearing my black sneakers , I jogged down stairs . 

The party hall looked so decorated and beautiful . "Surprise !!!" everyone shouted to me . A party for me ? why ? It must have cost so much , it looks expensive . 

"Jen what is this ?" I asked still confused on how . 

"Well , you deserve a party . It was all thanks to Lilly ." Jen said pointing to Lilly who was dressed in a dark red dress . 

"It wasn't all me , Dylan helped a lot ." an unfamiliar name was said , so i gave a confused look . "Oh right , you know him as Mr.Arnold ." 

"It was my pleasure ." He bent down like a prince to kiss my hand , handing me red roses . I read the small card that said happy birthday with my name on it . I couldn't help but blush a little . There was something strange about the note though .  

"Come to the party hall ." I texted Adam , it was time for romance to unravel .
