A happy ending .

Chapter 12 - Forever

We were too late . The entire school looked like a battle field but not only in appearance , it was a battle field . All the students and teachers were fighting for their lives . I got scared , too scared , I wanted to leave , but how could I when people were dying . I got a shock from behind , Dylan pat my back a little roughly . 
"We can do this okay ?" He said trying to comfort me again . "Lilly , Jen evacuate everyone . Adam protect them while doing so . Fin , Celine , you two will help us in killing the F.A.S . Lets try this with no casualties ." Wow he sounded like a real leader , someone I would look up to . 

I flew so high and began attacking the angels one by one when I heard a scary voice in the background "Take that red headed bitch alive ." My hair danced in the wind and my hazel eyes were about to release more tears , I forced them to stay in . I could do this . I could save everyone . 

I would have guessed an hour had gone passed . More and more fallen angels were coming from a dark portal in the ground , right behind the school . "Dylan , go to the back of the school !" I shouted from the sky , I watched him teleport again to the back . "They are coming from there !" 

Dylan used a special spell to make a barrier which deactivated the portal , I was so distracted . I got kicked to the floor , my mouth now covered in my blood I coughed up . My back pained , it was grazed badly too . It hurt , I could barely hear my thoughts . It didn't stop me , I got back up and was now soaring in the sky . My wings were now a purple , a really pretty color , prettiest I've ever felt .  

This time I was serious , I was about to kill , kill and kill . They wont hurt anyone again while I'm alive . I lifted my hands , my hazel eyes became white , almost like I was being possessed . Those words haunted me again and I spoke them again . Words of death , this time they came out differently though . 

"All those who have sinned before me , shall perish ." my wings turned into huge feather arms , stretching out , I grabbed all the fallen angels . In my wings I held onto them tightly . I smirked to the sound of their screams , like a complete sadist . The screams of them burning alive made me feel excited , to dust and ashes they all became , becoming one with the wind . The people standing on the ground could see the beautiful flames my wings were making .

I fell from the sky into Dylan's arms "Cat !" he screamed "Please don't go ." it hurt , like I was hurting from just being alive any longer . My body was burnt from my flame and uncontrollable power . I couldn't say a thing , I could only listen to Dylan's sad voice . "I love you , I'm supposed to protect you . I sent you those flowers not Luke . I only want to be with you ." he began crying more and more , I didn't want him to cry for my sacrifice , I wanted him to  rejoice that everyone else is safe . "Lilly ! Jen ! We need to heal her fast !" Dylan shouted some more than whispered , touching my face that began going cold .  "No , no , I swore to protect you . It can't end like this ." 

I tilted my head a little , to find Lilly running to me "Cat !" no don't come here , you can't see me like this Lilly . "I'm sorry I cant heal you !" She began crying too , holding my hand . "You can't leave , just wait a little longer . You can't , you're going to be an aunt . I'm pregnant ." She smiled a little , giggled then began crying some more . I'm proud of you sis , I couldn't say it though .

I turned my head back to Dylan . The pain was fading , the light came for me . I could feel a sense of relief , "I love you Cat ." Dylan said with more sadness in his eyes . 

I used the last of my life to speak "I ...... love you ...... too ." it got darker from there and I felt free , my spirit lifted up , I cried as I saw Dylan screaming while holding my body . I'm glad you loved me , I'm glad I loved you but this is good bye .
