Roger-
You were getting some blood work done and Roger waited for you in the waiting room. You sat nervously in the chair, waiting for your results. You had been feeling nauseous lately, and you hoped for the best.
The doctor came in with an unusually cheery grin on his face, funny considering he worked in a hospital. You couldn't fathom being a happy doctor.
"Well Mrs. Waters, I have some good news for you!" He said.
You sat eyes widened and fingers fiddling.
"We didn't find anything deadly or fatal, but we did find a growing fetus." He cheered.
You sat there. Good news?! How could his at all be good? You weren't ready to be a parent, and you knew Roger definitely wasn't.
He left, inviting your husband to come in, the doctor left, giving you two some privacy.
He opened the door with a concerned look on his face. You were teary eyed and he came and wrapped you in a warm embrace. You sat there for a good 5 minutes until anything was said.
"So... what is it?" He asked dreadfully.
You sighed, looking into his eyes and looking down again. You took his wrists in your hands, preparing to hear the worst.
"Roger... I'm pregnant." It slipped out dryly.
He stood and looked you over, not saying anything.
"Okay." He whispered.
"What? You're not angry?" You asked surprised.
"How could I be? You can't help it. And I know what you're thinking, you're gonna leave me aren't you? No. No I'm not. I'll stay with you. I'm just glad I'm having children with you and no one else." He explained.
You broke down. "Thank you." You cried.
"I wouldn't ever leave you Y/N. Even if worse comes to worst. I love you too much."
David-
You stood on the soft sand, warm and at peace while David wrapped you up in his strong arms. You watched the colors of the sky change as the sun inches closer and closer to the horizon line.
"David." You smiles up at him.
"What?" He chuckled at you, looking down.
You sighed happily, "We're having a baby."
He smiled at you. "Are we?! Really?"
"Mhm." You giggled.
He brought your head close to his chest, resting his chin on the top of it. "That's... that's wonderful."
And you turned around, watching the sunset with the love of your life, his hand rested on your abdomen as you each thought of your future together. Everything was perfect.
Rick-
You and Rick laid in your bed, accompanied by your three cats. Nala, Nemo, and Tinker. It was a Thursday, and the soft sunlight peaked into your bedroom window as rick gently played with your hair.
Nala purred and and purred and purred, especially when she sat next to you.
Rick seemed to notice and his curiosity had to know why. "Hey Y/N, have you noticed that Nala has been really gentle with you lately?"
"I have."
"Why is that?" He wondered.
"Well, I heard that when someone's pregnant, cats can sense it and they'll be a bit motherly around you." You explained.
"Oh." He replied.
You laughed at him not getting what you were trying to say.
He finally did and perked up. "Dot whY means... you're pregnant?"
You giggled, "Yes." You said as you laid your head on his chest.
"No way!" He laughed.
And you two fell asleep in the warm summer light, with all of your cats laying every which way. And you dreaming while laying on his chest.
Nick-
You woke up sick yet again. You rushed to the bathroom to vomit up last night's dinner, this time with a splitting headache to go with it. You finished and went to make yourself some tea.
Nick walked through the door, a bag of groceries on his arm.
"Morning beautiful." He greeted as he put the bags down.
"Morning." You replied back.
"I got you something." He said as you looked at him.
"Really? Lemme see."
He pulled out a pregnancy test. You glared at him.
"Nick, I'm not taking that." You protested.
"I really think you should Y/N. Even if you're not, at least take a test."
"No."
"Please, what if you are and you just think it's a flu? And then it comes time to have the baby and it's just a shock?" He begged.
You rolled your eyes, "Alright fine."
You did what the box told you to and waited for the results.
Nick was right.
You were pregnant.
You walked out of the bathroom. "You were right." You said looking at your feet.
"I figured you were, but I'm still happy about it."
"Me too." You agreed. And you two spent the rest of the day talking about all things baby themed.
Syd-
You sat reading your favorite novel in your softly lit living room.
Syd was painting in the art room, and you sat alone with your cat.
He came in the living room. "Hey you, what's up?"
"Nothing much. Just reading."
"I found something in the bathroom." He said suddenly.
You cursed yourself out. "I meant to tell you I'm sorry."
"No need to be. I'm happy you're pregnant. It'll be fun."
You laughed at his sweet optimism. "I guess."
"I'm tired." He said as he laid his head on your shoulder.
"Wanna go nap?" You asked.
"Sure." He said and grabbed you by the hand, leading you to the bedroom.
