Staying at the Irwin home for a few days to just watch Harry is one million and ten percent different then actually living in the Irwin home.
You notice more things; like how Mr. Irwin rushes around in his home office trying to collect all his papers; and how Mrs. Irwin spills a lot of coffee when she tries to quickly make it for her lovely husband. Harry seems to be moving faster (probably because his parents are here and no longer on their business trip). And Ashton is still the same old Ashton, taking his sweet time to come down stairs.
I finished eating my bowl of cereal before rinsing out the bowl and putting it (along with the spoon) in the dishwasher. My car keys and books were still up in my room, so I made my way up there, walking into the bedroom that was now mine, and grabbed my belongings before heading back down stairs to see the two parents gone and Harry no longer rushing. He was such a stuck up child.
"Did you take your medication today, Luke?" Ashton asks, walking into the kitchen.
I shook my head lightly, "my arm is fine. I don't need to."
"Well just take one in a baggy or something incase it starts to hurt at school." He says while opening the fridge.
"What did you do again?" Harry asks, raising an eyebrow.
"I got my wrist caught between bars when I tripped over someone on a flight of stairs." I mutter, realising how stupid it sounded.
"Klutz." Harry snorted and I playfully smiled at him.
"Ha. Ha. You're hilarious, Harry."
"I know." He smiles. "And I don't even have to try."
I playfully roll my eyes at him before looking at the time. "We have to go. Are you coming, Ash?" I ask.
He shakes his head, "nah. I have a test first period and I don't feel like taking it today, so I'm going in late."
"You're so stupid." I roll my eyes at him. "You're not going to graduate."
"There's still twelve weeks until graduation." He states, taking a sip of his orange juice. "Thanks for being concerned, but I'm pretty sure I will be fine."
"Whatever, Ashton." I mutter, heading towards the front door. Harry follows me out to my car and we climb in, heading to his school first.

As the day goes by I didn't see Ashton show up. Did he just decide to bail?
Most likely.
I didn't feel like texting him, so I just decided to wait and talk to him when I got home.
I picked Harry up from school and we headed right over to the soccer field because he has a four thirty game and he had to be there by four to practice, but he wanted me to go a little earlier with him so he could practice his passing and keeping the ball close to his feet when he ran with it.
With all the extra practices I had been doing with him he's improved his game a lot. I honestly think he's one of the best ones on the team; no offence to the other guys.
"Yo, kid!" The coach shouted approaching the field. I glanced over at him and simply smiled, holding out his hand. "I'm Coach Sam, are you Harry's babysitter?"
I nod, "yeah, hi, I'm Luke." He notices my casted wrist and switches his hand so I could shake it with my good hand.
"Harry, here, has told me a lot about you helping him with soccer and stuff." He explains and I nod. "I like the way he's improved and it would be a pleasure to have you coaching the team with me for the rest of the season."
"You want me to be the assistant coach?" I ask, surprised.
"I sure do, son. You have talent." The coach nods and I shrug, looking at Harry who simply smiles wide.
I turn back to the coach and nod, "yeah, sure. I'll coach with you."
"Great, can you start these kids off with simple passing while I get the rest of the equipment out of the car?" He asks.
"Yeah." I nod. The coach thanks me before jogging off the field. "Alright, everyone get in a big circle."
"Oh, this should be fun." Harry smiles at a teammate.
Once everyone is in a large circle I place the ball down on the ground in front of a kid, I believe his name was Charlie.
"I want you to kick this ball to whoever you want, but you have to kick to kick it the right way and whoever it is kicked to has to trap the ball the correct way." I instruct and they all nod in understanding the rules. "Okay, begin."
I step back to watch them begin their passing and they were all doing very well. I pulled out my phone to see the time and it was just a little after four.
I go into my messages app and click on Ashton's contact, sending him a quick message.
I don't give a shit if you ditched school. You better come to your brother's game.
